You will be so sorry to be growing Lily of the Valley. Be Forewarned. It is such a poor choice for a ground cover- so badly spreading and has a terrible summer die back. Hard to get rid of once settled.. There are so many better options that are easy to control. Check out the groundcover book written by the owner of Phoenix Perennials in British Columbia Canada. So so many better options.

Lily of the Valley is very invasive in my area. Though dry shade is supposed to check its spread. Beautiful garden.

Nah…I grow them here in the PNW with no problems. Right plant right place.
