I've been on a 2+hr down memory lane trip, watching old-school PC games from my childhood. I could not for the life of my remember the name of this one. Finally found it while searching Reader Rabbit. Oh the nostalgia!
This game made me so fucking angry as a kid. The promise is that I would meet this "math magician" by completing the game, right? I kept imaging this tall, dark man with a top hat and monocle waiting to tell me what a great person I was. I THRIVED on that promise. And then, spoilers guys, it turned out the whole time...that I, as in ME, I WAS THE MATH MAGICIAN THE WHOLE TIME FUCKING WHAT WHY WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?!?! Why would you be like to a kid "hey, kid, wanna meet a police officer? You know, your hero and aspiration in life? Oh yeah? How about you complete these ten tedious law themed games and you'll meet them!" and them like, "Oh! You actually did all of them! Where's the police officer? Uh.....congratulations! YOU'RE the police officer now!" NO! YOU CAN'T DO THAT! That's the worse bait and switch I've even seen, why would you do that to children?!?!? Uh, but besides that, I have some fond memories and actually enjoyed the games as a kid, I actually think this a great educational game.
I grew up with this game, because I went crazy over the 🐈s in the Pizza Fractions segment of this game. Besides, I remember that this PC/MAC game came with a user's guide. I decided to donate it, because I outgrew it. Viva nostalgia!

All the endless months searching for the Math Magician, making sugar, building log houses, counting cows . . . only to find that YOU are the Math Magician, was a little disappointing, but I still totally enjoyed it.

ik this is an old reply but i got stuck on the level with the cows. me and my friend were in class when him and i started humming the theme song. my favorite level was the one with the beaver and you built cabins because the level song was a bop
