Thats great advice for all 4x4 owners. Water can find its way into parts you may have never thought of like the winch or axels from a rotten air breather hose.
@ARB4WD Thanks! I'am from the USA and subscribe to "Australian 4WD Action" magazine. I also follow your channel on RUclips and add your videos to my playlists. Hope to make it down to Australia someday. I'd like to go with "4WD Action" on one of it's runs! Heading out to Johnson Valley California Friday evening. Its where they run "King of the Hammers". To bad they race mid week. I plain on taking video so stay tuned!
Bonnet? Shed-jewel? Grease nipples? You Aussies talk funny. BTW, I tried the "shrimp on the barbie" thing once but my daughter said it made her doll stink.
I love these maintenance vids. Anything and everything that'll help me is a plus. Thanks ARB.

@rudedogii Yep, all 4WDers should take note. Some simple maintenance can prevent a whole range of issues. Glad you liked the video.
One great bit of advice that I've heard is the seals on the axle are meant to keep oil in, not water out

Oil in shot glass. Foster's in an oil can. Must be a connection here.
