In this episode of Projects with Paul, I will show you how I load and chain down my tractor, show you my new KazeKup magnetic cup holder and Lock N Lube grease gun attachment.
Good job. I use safety wire when I use those type binders. But normally I use the ratcheting binders. I like those better.
Yeah I'm not crazy about these. I think I may try one of those new speed binders that you can use a cordless drill with. Thanks for watching.
Picking up my 3515h on Saturday. Cant wait!!! Great video
Almost lifted the rear wheels of your truck off the ground. I'd suggest either adding supports under your ramps or putting a jack stand under the rear of the trailer so it can't be pushed down by the weight of the tractor. If you don't have the parking brake on that truck set, it may end up rolling forward. Be safe and best of luck.
Yes Sir, that was a "Pure-Greenhorn" maneuver...with NO Support on the back-end of that "Tetter-Todder" Trailer; could Always be Tradject. It just "AMAZES" me that 90% of "New Twac-tor drivers" NEVER read&understand the Operator's Manuals before the "key gets turned", "levers get pulled", & the "GO-GO Hydro PEDALS get pushed". These "Amiture Opperater" Vidio's are mostly Entertaing on "What-not-to-do".
D.o.t. say all 4sides all each single contact not 1 point to 2sides. So the tie at the back does no comply with dot rules.
In Georgia, loads under 10,000 lbs only require 1 tie down in front and one in rear and they can be straps or chains as long as they have the proper rating. 4 tie downs only apply to loads over 10K. Thanks for watching.
I saw a video when loading equipment, chock your truck 🚚 tires, emg brake then put in neutral inorder to protect your trans. I l like that cup holder.
Yes, that's good advice. Thanks for watching
Chalking the wheels is good advise not transmission in neutral. I agree. Thanks for watching.
3/4” steel strap bent into an elongated ( C ) shape will secure your binder . Drill strap and enlarge hole in binder and install pin with safety clip .
Swivel hoist rings and shackles are impressive on a project .
I see we have the same “OSHA APPROVED” flip flops 🤣 I’m surprised the safety Sally’s haven’t commented yet 🙄 Great video!
Haha yeah thats all I wear if im not doing any real work. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Somebody commented your trailer looked overloaded it may not be overloaded but it is a little short you need a longer trailer to get that tongue weight get those rear tires on towards the front of the trailer a little farther that just looks dangerous I say this because I lost control of my truck while holding a bobcat that wasn't loaded right
Checking out your tractor playlist since it's Orange like mine! Us Orange peeps gotta stick together,LOL!
You know his tractor is Red right?
@@homergarcia376 it looks orange to me???
Cool video.
Thanks for watching.
Just learning my new editing software.
Nice Paul! How did you like the editing software? Nice additions to your tractor and trailer.
@@HomeWithTheBuffingtons Thanks, its a bit of a learning curve for me but I like it.
@@ProjectsWithPaul which program you using?
You happy with it?
@@OurOkieHomestead wondershare filmora x. Its good once you learn it.
Drill a larger hole in that handle and add a short chain and a clip to the end and then it can clip to the chain and won't pop loose
Funny, I did just that, drilled a bigger hole and used an s hook and a chain clip. Thanks for watching.
young man ,
d rings suck sooner or later they going to broke / all u need was stake pocket !,
find old sock put strap in work great / plus + blinder need dog belt
I have the same tractor, where did you get your bolt on D rings for it and did you have to drill any holes to install the D rings for towing?
I got them from harbor freight but tractor supply also has them. They matched up to existing holes in the tractor frame. I did enlarge the holes in the D rings to 1/2" and used grade 8 hardware. Thanks for watching. Check out my other videos.
Just got the same tractor. What size are the D rings that you mounted to the tractor?
I can't believe he loaded that tractor without putting block under the back of the trailer I saw his truck raised up tires almost went off the ground look like you can't use just one chain across the back like that you will definitely get a ticket if you ever get pulled over I know that's a good idea and I've done it but it is against the law
Where did you get your tow hitch for your box scraper???? Thanks
I bought the receiver from Harbor Freight and cut the angle to fit and welded it on. It was $15. I talk about it more on my other Branson tractor video. Thanks for watching.
Looks overloaded.
Hi Paul! I'll be hauling my 3520h for the first time this weekend. Very helpful to see how you secure the load. Curious if you ever hauled before adding the D-rings to the front of the tractor? if so, where did you secure the chains / tiedowns? Thanks.
Yes I did. I ran the strap through the front guard. Thanks for watching.
You should never load your tractor without bracing up the rear of the trailer. If you're on a hill your back end will rise off the ground and off you'll go!
Thanks for the tip.
@@ProjectsWithPaul Lol I just posted this without reading this comment.....What @carppiestomper said!!! For Sure!
Yeah I think I'm gonna add some rear jacks to the trailer. Thanks for watching
Im considering one of these. How does it stack up against a Mahindra 1625?
Well i dont know about the Mahindra but this tractor has a Cummins designed engine and probably the strongest lift capacity in its class.
@@ProjectsWithPaul I bought one. Had it for 3 weeks now. 22 hours on it. It gets the job done!!!
@@highplainshollarhomestead3188 Awesome! Glad you like it.
I got a 16 foot trailer like yours and have been wondering how it would fit with the bucket and something on the back! Thanks for sharing!
Glad I could help. Thanks for watching.
How is the shed holding up?
Great. I moved it to my new house a set it back up with no issues. Im impressed with the durability going on 4 years now. Thanks for watching
Where did you get the dring for the front mount things?
Harbor Freight. I put an Amazon link in the video description for the same ones. Thanks for watching.
@@ProjectsWithPaulthanks! I could’ve sworn I looked for a link haha
@@TexasRedneck I just added it. I put a link for 3/8" and 1/2" because I can remember witch size I used. Ill measure tomorrow.
@@ProjectsWithPaul aww ok, thank you!
I noticed your GA plates. I’m in middle GA. What dealer did you purchase from? Seriously interested in the 2515H.
Thanks for watching. I bought it at mathis in Rome, GA.
Be careful you don’t drive by any dot inspections! Clearly you never loaded your tractor on an incline yet.
Why shouldn't I drive by any dot inspections?
@@ProjectsWithPaul watch some utube videos on the subject. First you have to have tie 4 downs on the tractor (can’t run through a clevis and hook to the other side) then the bucket and any implement needs a separate tie down. Also make sure the trailer is heavy enough to carry the weight of the tractor and implements. Always put blocks under the back of the trailer so you don’t take the back wheels of your truck off the ground. Thats one is a lesson most guys learn the hard way! Beautiful 🚜
Thanks for the advice and thanks for watching.
