That second fundamental equation makes no sense, because in the first equation the integral of dt is not done like the 2nd equation; dt 1+ exponent
    . Why

Hi, I have a question relating to Hookes Law, spring constant, and SHM
If a vertical spring stretches x centimetres when a mass m object is hung from it. Then the object is replaced with a new mass that oscillates up and down. I know the formulas i need and how to rearrange hookes law to find k for the formula to find period, but my question is this. In general, do you always use the original mass in hookes law to find k?

I watch this multiple time to be sure that I understand this deeply because I have problem to figure it out where I can start to solve my problems. Now, I get it. Thanks you so much for all your works. I really appreciate it.

This the cone [sqrt(x*0+y^2+z^2)/x, y/x, z/x]? The cones initial energy is 0 in the middle. [sqrt(x^2+y^2+z^2)/x, y/x,z/x] is a hyperbolloid that is related. I think I know where x-x_0 comes from. It has to do with the sec(θ)+tan(θ) difference of squares relationship. I think the cone in my avatar is wrong. The top should be white. The [0,0,0] is black. The very top is c/c. The middle is 0/c or slope zero, which can't happen (infinity/infinity). So I guess each wavelength has one white and one black point on the cone. But it is not scaled with a constant (from middle to top), it's scaled with sqrt(E)? I might have to write my own program if I want to get the geometry right. Maybe I can get a better picture of what is going on. The hyperbolloid is a special condition that can't be justified.
