This show was criminally underrated. I get it was a pretty standard trivia question show, but having the premise of having 100 people also play the game against the main player was such a great idea.
Bob Saget,wonderful 1 vs 100 host,I loved the show and he was awesome,but it was crazy,one wrong answer and you're gone. I hated that part,they made things extremely difficult for people,fortunately no time limit.Wasn't he the same one that was Danny Tanner on Full House?Sounds kinda raspy with all the excitedness.
I only want that to happen but I just found out something Nintendo switch recently came out with a game call everybody 1 2 switch and one of their modes plays with 100 people via their smartphones now I do remember the game company who made 1 vs 100 but I bet it's out of business now but if the make a reboot of the game and the video game they can use that technology and take it on tour but in a place where people are comfortable in movie theaters

On one of the questions, she polled the mob and everyone is told that 44 of the 77 men answered "Hair club for Men," which was the correct answer. Then Bob says, "now let's find out how many got it wrong!!!" Um, we already know... And yet everybody goes nuts and is increasingly shocked as the 33 "dings" ensue.
I can understand, as the contestant, you wanna act happy when people get eliminated. But it was just revealed how many it was, and yet she acts genuinely shocked
This was the first big show that I watched and I watched Jason get $1,000,000!! The first and only person to win $1,000,000 on 1 VS 100. R.I.P. Bob Saget. You will be missed forever!! I will say that I immediately thought Christmas for that question, but also when you think of Christmas, the first thing that comes into mind isn't cards, but presents. I remember Valentines day being big as children where you got those tiny cards, but I'm not sure those really count. And with significant others, you generally either get choclates/teddy bears/flowers or something like date night. And mother's day I feel you would generally give cards, but I feel it wouldn't be big enough to be the biggest one.
We don't know that "they all chose Mother's Day". What we do know is that all remaining members of the mob chose either Mother's Day or Valentine's Day. I think you are right though that most or all chose Mother's Day, and the reason is that we do hear that Mother's Day is the day with the most phone calls...so they probably got that statistic stuck in their minds.

Never saw this one. This show reminds me of "Pandemonium", a game show that never aired, and it was a pilot. This show was based on the first round of "Pandemonium - Part 1" where one of the 116 contestants got it right and stays there, where they got wrong, one of 50 out of 116 contestants wiped off. Round 1 has three questions before the host introduced to the four contestants.
I remember when this show first started, they did this little promotion game on Xbox 360 where you played. So it was your avatar vs 100. It was pretty fun from what I remember, I wonder why this show didn't last long. I enjoyed it, and _The_ Bob Saget. Hosted..what more could you ask for?
I was trying to figure out the final question about the greeting cards - I guess with Mother's Day and Valentine's Day, people would only be giving cards out to a couple of people - possibly a mother, aunt, girlfriend/wife (but that's about it). Even though not everyone celebrates Christmas, people that send out Christmas cards might send them out to 20+ people, which doesn't even include the ones I mentioned above.
These shows with the "let's-stall-as-long-as-we-can-before-giving-the-answer" time wasting are horrible. That's why Jeopardy is best TV show. Half an hour, 61 questions... BAM ! Perfect.
Bobby S the only time i'd get stalling for a non-million dollar moment is if bob barker does it. His stall tactics are perfect! half the time you know you got it if he stalls that way.
TacomaPaul That, I can agree with! Let's take "Deal Or No Deal" for example. In the first few rounds, why not allow the contestant to pick multiple cases at once, and they're all opened at the same time? That'd speed things up exponentially. As for when it comes down to opening one case at a time, then, the person whose case was selected must open it (completely, thus revealing the money amount it contains) within 2 seconds of it being chosen.
I remember this now, Jason is added to the list of game show millionaires. Talk about Revenge of the Nerds. He killed those women, but not in the way Simpson killed Nicole. And I think the girl contestant should go with Jason.
I don't know how she got the prime number question wrong. By rule, EVERY even number is divisible by 2 no matter what so only odd numbers can be prime. This should have been an easy one. Even if she was clueless on what a prime number was, the clue was when the movie with 6 was removed as a possibility. 4 and 6 are both divisible by 2 but obviously math wasn't her strong suit in high school, if she actually went.

The last one should be simple. Valentines and mothers day are only 1:1, one person gives one person one card, but Christmas is way more than that.

TacomaPaul That, I can agree with! Let's take "Deal Or No Deal" for example. In the first few rounds, why not allow the contestant to pick multiple cases at once, and they're all opened at the same time? That'd speed things up exponentially. As for when it comes down to opening one case at a time, then, the person whose case was selected must open it (completely, thus revealing the money amount it contains) within 2 seconds of it being chosen.

I don't know how she got the prime number question wrong. By rule, EVERY even number is divisible by 2 no matter what so only odd numbers can be prime. This should have been an easy one. Even if she was clueless on what a prime number was, the clue was when the movie with 6 was removed as a possibility. 4 and 6 are both divisible by 2 but obviously math wasn't her strong suit in high school, if she actually went.
