Playing skyrim... going to the moon, laughing to normal dragons as they are easy, dying over and over again to elder dragon, killing nazeem, falling and robbing horses... good game
Tamriel is a continent. Moons don't belong to continents. The moons and continents belong to the planet. The planet is called Nirn, so I think you meant to say, "Secunda is one of Nirn's moons."
@@PrawilnaMordka Skyrim and The Witcher 3 definitely stand together at the top. Obviously Witcher is better, but it's hard to compare the two when they are so drastically different.
@@mainstream1647 Witcher 3 has advantage of protagonist which has interesting personality and shows emotions. In Skyrim it's harder to achieve because protagonist is custom. They would have to record every spoken word protagonist says in all races both male and female (20) and make some cutscenes as well. That would be mammoth work. But what mostly makes Witcher 3 better are quests which are much more interesting and diverse. Some side quests in Witcher 3 are better than main quests in Skyrim. Skyrim quests are mostly going into caves and fighting enemies. It's so boring, tedious and repetitive. But as you said it's hard to compare those games. It's not fair comparison. If Bethesda made some RPG with one not customisable character then we would able to compare it to Witcher 3.
When people ask me why I love Skyrim so much, I refer them to any & every piano cover of Secunda. I know I could refer them to the Dragonborn song or the opening intro song as they are more well-known, and while those songs definitely have a great sound to them as well because of the talent of Jeremy Soule, there’s just nothing quite as listening to this song in the middle of the night, pondering whether you should keep playing & continue your adventures in Skyrim, or if you should turn in for the night because the beautiful melodies of this song make it almost like a lullaby. It’s the reason why I use this song for my sleep machine when I go to bed every night. Best video game ost, up there with Ocarina of Time for sure.
Let me paint you the scene: The year is 2011 and you got skyrim for Christmas and an Xbox 360 you let the game download overnight, you hop in and grind for hours. Your running through the meadows just outside of riften. Then you hear this song start to play in the middle of the night. You look up and see the stars and the moons. You just sit there for a second taking it all in. You slowly drift into daydreaming while this music is playing. The song comes to an end and everything is quite. You go back to questing but always remember the time you had during this song. Some say it’s a ancient myth but I still here that the Dragonborn visit that’s place once in a while just to Remanence.
Omg the nostalgia this brings is insane, I kinda miss the old days of not knowing what to expect when battling a dragon or accidentally stumbling upon a bandit outpost...
Who knew that evening of November 10th 2011, would be the last time I ever stood in a midnight release line for a game? I will never forget getting home around 1am, putting the disk in and playing until I had to get ready for work. I was so engrossed in all the little details that made it a magical world to explore. When it was time for work I called out sick, made a pot of coffee and just kept on going on my magical journey. This song in particular alway reminds me of wandering the snowy peaks up near the mages college, at night. Looking up at a fantastic clear night sky, enjoying the distant planets and stars, mixed in with the beautiful green colors of an aurora borealis. Great game, fond memories, simpler times.
I've never clicked on a video so hard in my life. I wish we could go back to 2011, such a simpler time. Skyrim is and will always be my favourite video game. Thank you for this beautiful masterpiece.
To this day, Skyrim is still my favorite game. The experience to get into Skyrim the first time is unimaginable. I wish I could experience it one more time :(
I love the ES series, Skyrim isn’t my favorite game ever, not even close, but I can get why people love it to that extent and respect it. I see lots of arguments that start over ppl’s favorite games, (especially in YT comments) but it’s nice to just talk or chill over a game we all enjoy and love
The Dragonborn stepped out of Riverwood to get a glimpse of the landscape around them. The bright moonlight shined down over the river, giving it glistening stripes of silver. They walked over the stone bridge, and down the stone path before them. They reached the end of the river, the water plummeting over the rocky edge. They see the sprawling city of Whiterun in the distance. Dragonsreach looms over the houses like a dark obelisk, with small lights shining through windows. The grassy plains looked like a waving green and orange ocean, with deer frolicking through the tall grass. Small snowflakes began to drift through the air. In the light, it looked like a star field. It didn't last long, but the thin layer of snow only added to the beauty. The distant roar of a dragon reminded the Dragonborn of their destiny. They looked over their surroundings once more, then continued on their journey to save the land they loved...
And as he slides down he underestimates the drop dying and reloading last save which was an hour ago. Tired of travelling you quit game and head to bed
How can anyone come up with a iconic song like this beats the hell out of me. You really got to admire the thought and creativity of the artists behind the music.
I sleep to this (original) mostly everyday, found this and I love it. I like it with ambience. The sound of the woods and crickets. Thank you for doing this version, is very good.!

How this man can catch all those tetris poeces is astonishing.
I've fallen asleep dozens of times during long late-night sessions of skyrim. The music is just so beautiful and calming! It's gotten to the point where I have to only play during the day in a bright room lest I fall asleep, and even then it's not guaranteed haha. Clicking this video made me super happy and immediately drowsy. Great work!
I remember when I was like 6 when this game came out. I'd sit up all night and listen to the soundtrack on repeat, then fall asleep to it. It's so soft and gentle, along with the ambience of Skyrims' night and nature, it's just bliss to listen to. This game will always be a special part of my life. I'll never grow tired of it, or forget it. No matter how 'old' it gets. Because good games never get old, otherwise it was never a good game.
Nice I printed the notes for it yesterday as i finished from past to present !skyrim has such an amazing soundtrack and the nostalgic feeling you get playing the songs on piano.....
Minecraft may be the most played game today still but nothing will ever have as beautiful and amazing memories as Skyrim. This game has to be the number one most influential game in so many people’s life. I just wish I could experience it for the first time again
I decided to reboot my xbox 360 to play Skyrim and a few others, only to have a bit of fun whilst to reminisce about the hours spent with my mate, (since skyrim was the game that brought us together) sharing the new items I got in skyrim and him showing me the items he got as well and so on... that was 6 years ago.
this was a very good cover but i think that the way you performed it, the initial playfulness of the song, mimicing the way the snow falls is lost to a more melancholic mood, great job though this was amazing
"My travels have taken me far across Tamriel. From the southern deserts of Elsweyr, to my ash-covered homeland of Morrowind. But in all my years I have never found somewhere quite like Skyrim. I've written previously that the people of Skyrim tell it's history, but I may have discounted the land itself. Sometimes the cold can force itself down into your core, freezing you in seconds, and sometimes the trees can stretch up and out for miles, filling your eyes with beautiful greens I haven't seen in centuries. As I near the end of my time here, I've learned my initial assessment of the Nords to be false. They are not, as I had once thought, uncivilized. Brutish, yes. Violent, absolutely. But everything they do, everywhere they step, it's steeped in so much history and tradition that I sometimes find myself overwhelmed. I don't think I'll ever truly be done writing on the peoples of this world, but I know for sure Skyrim will require another volume." *Renthir Drend, Chronicles Of The People Of Tamriel Vol.4*
