I knew it, i knew it!!!! congrats Pavlin!! for me, you are the best person to make us ''understand'' this bike!! I wish to you more than 193000 kms with this new machine!! cheers from Greece!!
Happy for Pavlin! I switched from a 690 to the T7 just over a year ago. It's setup for motorcycle adventures of any kind. All with helpful tips from Pavlin. Good for you. From CT, U.S.A.
I’d fit a centrestand. Essential for chain adjusting, cleaning and oiling and general maintenance. When you get a flat you can get either wheel off the ground by moving your luggage on and off the bike
The center stand on the tenere sticks out a lot on the left side. You can easily hook a small tree or a big beach with that side stand while riding offroad. And it adds weight. I don't think he will put a center stand on this bike.
Hearty Congratulations on your new Tenere 700. Hope you enjoy a new relationship with the new Tenere...The old Tenere will always have a special position in our hearts
Congratulations, long awaited treasure. Good luck on new adventures and thank you for all the videos. Actually becouse of you I made my A licence and I now ride bikes!! All the best.
It is great to hear and watch that you finally have this new motorcycle. I can't wait to see your foughts and mods. I got mine since September and I love it.
Congratulations Pavlin! Your travels will make the best review of the bike, of all it's pros and cons and will show how it behaves in a longer perspective! Hope the motorcycle works good and doesn't fail in any way. Good luck in your adventures!
CONGRATS BRO. I STOPPED WATCHING YOUR VIDEOS FOR A WHILE BECAUSE THEIR WAS NOTHING NEW IN IT. NOW YOU HAVE BOUGHT A NEW BEAST I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO YOU NEW JOURNEY
We all expected this change, Pavlin. Looking forward to how your mods will prove themselves on travels. I like your no-fuzz-but-honest-words style very much. Thanks for your channel, Günter from Günter/Germany
Congratulations and welcome to the black Yamaha Tenere 700 Club Pavlin. A wonderful motorcycle in every way. You will love it. I promise. Greetings from Sweden
Good choice Pavlin. Two things I would recommend are, one, a chain guide, the one that sits in front of the rear sprocket, strange that it does not come with the bike, it is an option and has the mounting holes already in the swing arm. And number two, probably the best thing to fit is a good strong bash plate, the B+B I have protects a lot of the engine including the vulnerable water pump. And at a push maybe some R+G plastic engine covers, they weigh next to nothing but will protect the clutch cover as that does stick out a little and is a little vulnerable, not to mention the alternator cover. Damage to plastic body panels, the bike is still rideable but damage to engine covers can cause big drama. I have done around 14K on my Tenere but still prefer to ride my DR 650, only 500 Klm’s to go before it hits the 300,000 mark. Enjoy the ride mate, hopefully I can make it over to Europe next year and have you show me around Varna. 👍👍👍👍👍
@@jimperry4420 weight. Sadly the T7 is top heavy, great bike, does every thing I want it to but in circumstances when it needs a foot down like off camber hills it is hard to hold up, my DR is 30 KG lighter and not as top heavy. Even trying to push the T7 backwards sitting on the bike is difficult, the high seat height and wider seat make my short legs struggle. Plus I may add I have ridden a DR every day for the last 16 years and it fits me like a glove, my brain is programmed for a DR the T7 plays with my brain.
@@whitedrguy6503 a friend of mine switched from T7 to AJP PR7 for exactly the same reason, once he started to ride more off road, T7 proved to not to be as light as everyone claimed. Great bike though.
Fantastic choice! Welcome to the T7 family, I got mine last April and I love it, I made almost 10k Km and it's perfect. I won't annoy you with accessories because you're absolutely more experienced than me, the only one I suggest you to consider is the center stand because It's so useful for cleaning and maintenance.
Man i am so happy for you! I have the Tenere700 since 28.000 km. Never had a problem with it. I just love it! I am sure you will love it too :D Cheers from Austria
So glad to see you now have a T7. I'm in the USA, North Carolina. I put a headlight guard, barkbusters, grab rails, and Oem crash bars. Worried about a tail tidy letting in too much water, mud, and debris. I'm going to enjoy watching you moving forward with the T700.
I am really happy for you! You really deserved this bike! Wish you all the best, many kilometers without issues. I hope we will see each other some time.
Congratulations Pavlin. I also have the older Tenere, and have followed your adventures with interest. I am agonising over changing to the new bike as its a lot of money. I will watch with interest. You inspire my (small) adventures. Thank you.
Congratulations! This was so expected. As I wrote in other comments for your videos it was about time. The old machine is not bad, but for you this is a bliss. Wish you many kilometers without tech problems. Sofia, Bulgaria is with you.
