Just found this video and it's definitely super helpful for those who can't afford a 'real' cosplay from a store. Thank you for showing the process!! I was lucky enough to find a black long sleeve shirt with high collar at a thrift store, got baggy pants and pillow sheets from the dame thrift store, i just painted the shirt with the details along with cutting the pillow sheet and painting it too (I was cosplaying Shinobu at the time), the whole thing came out perfectly that people thought I had bought the whole thing from a cosplay store. Good thing from that is that I can cosplay almost any character, all I'd need would be the haori from each respective character.

Here in my country I used a fabric called "Oxford" , I don't know if it's called like that in other countries as well, but you can use any cotton fabric that is thicker. I hope this helps :)

Hola! Puedes comprar 2 metros de tela sin ningún problema, yo también usé 2 metros :) En el video hice cada parte del pantalon en 1 metro de tela cada una, porque no tenía 2 metros interos 🥲 pero puedes usar 2 metros juntos sin problemas 🥰
The pants you can do the same as in the video but without the seam on the bottom. As for the shirt you can do like we did in the video and just change the sleeves, because muichiro's sleeves are more like kimono sleeves. Nas mangas acredito que os personagens usem uma camisa branca por baixo mesmo, mas na roupa pra facilitar eu costurei o viés no finalzinho da manga também 😊

No, you can wash it as soon as it dries completely. However, remember to use fabric-specific paint. If you use another type of paint, it might come off over time 😊

¡Puedes usar la camisa que tengas! Este tipo de camisa (social) lo hace más fácil porque ya tiene cuello. Pero es posible hacer este uniforme con cualquier camisa sin ningún problema 🥰

Is the measurement of the pleats regardless of pant size?
Yes, the pleats measurement is regardless. I made 4cm pleats, but you can make larger or smaller pleats if you want :)
