I appreciate the help with this project! A question though, is there a pattern that I'm missing to make the belt itself, or are we meant to just buy one? My packet doesn't have anything about making the white belt for the pants.
I can't seem to find a tutorial for the uniform shirt. The tutorials help as my 11yo will be the one making it. We are buying the pattern off Etsy, but want the tutorials to follow as well as it's easier for her ADHD and learning disability. Thanks.

@@CallistasWorld yes I believe we are thinking of the same one. It requires the same steps as the one I linked in the previous comment. The only difference is that the front panels are shaped differently but they are sewn the same way.
@@clairefalcone2246 there are other video tutorials that use the same application method! Malon's skirt and Mitsuri's skirt have the same application method for there waistbands. Maybe it will be helpful to watch those as well. Let me know if it helps!

I can't see how to start attaching the waist band, you are out of frame and the video is so fast. The instructions with the pattern dose not show how to start either.

This was really helpful! Although I have a problem. I don't seem to see the waistband in pattern.
The waistband usually has its own pdf file! It has a lot of notches and can get confusing when all the sizes are on the same file.

Could you change from a fitted to an elasticated waistband quite easily?
If you're keeping a woven fabric (no stretch) you'll need to make sure the waistband is wide enough to get over your hips.

seam allowance is included in every pattern piece we sell.
