@@DigitalCharcuterie I agree with that idea. From the first episode it was like “Oh. Oz gets a Robin. Interesting.” So far it’s been great. Very volatile dynamic.
@@CaptainTae Yeah they've been great together. I think people see the name VICTOR and immediately jump to "it has to be Zsasz" but also that's part of the fun. I'm really looking forward to the second half to the season cause so far it's been really solid.
When (if) it happens you’ll love it. Also, every iteration of a character can be different. In the comics and in Tv Victor Zsasz has been a right hand man for the penguin.
I've been thinking this since the first episode. I've always thought of him as a Robin. This batman doesn't care about anything else besides the mission, so the same way he used Selina in the club, he'd use vic undercover. Vic is an orphan so him working as a caped crusader wouldn't be shocking. Batman has used street kids before with the sons of batman. His dad would be ashamed if he worked for penguin but proud if he worked for bruce wayne. He lost his family by a rogues gallery villain like nightwing, was stealing rims like redhood, mechanic background like duke. Plus the shot of him smirking when he heard the dolly Parton music when riding with Oz could be because batman plays nirvana when he's in the batmobile 😂 also I the last trailer he's riding a bike in a tunnel like drifter Bruce did to get into the bat cave
Bears mentioning that in the comics, Zsasz went insane after he lost all his money gambling in a rigged against the Penguin. So in a sense, he was literally "made" by the Penguin. When you know that, this doesn't seem as crazy as it sounds.
My prediction is that Julian Rush becomes Holiday. (Dark Victory). Holiday overshadowed the Hangman and Calendar Man (Julian Day). I think this show blends Calendar Man and Holiday with Julian Rush. I’m not sold on the Victor Zsasz theory. I think it’s a red herring.
My Theory: victors first kill will be penguins mom. The irony Oz left her with the very kid he trusted. In comics Victors first kill is an elderly. Also Oz is gonna need special ingredients to hype the effects of the mushroom drug. Perhaps a Dr. Crane?
Victor will get killed in the penguin. Colin said in an onterview that were really going to hate the penguin by the end of the series and it is implied in this trailer that he double crosses penguin and maybe thats why oz is crying to his mum cause he knows he has to do it and his mum is telling him to cut lose ends and obviously they cant trust him. Its just a theory but it all seems to point that way. Maybe he tries to kill him but doesnt fully and becomes victor sazs.
@DigitalCharcuterie well you do see him crying to his mum.. I think his mum tells him to kill vic and he starts crying and that's why when you see him cry, saying "yeah ill do it". I don't think his mum trusts Vic and maybe for good reason, but we will see.
@DigitalCharcuterie exactly. They have already portrayed her as selfish and just out for her own gain. This is why oz is the way he is, cause he loves her that much he's willing to do anything and has picked up her selfish traits on the way.
Naw, yall are reaching. “Oh his name is Victor, his parents are dead. This must be the origin of Zsasz!!!” Vic is a doey soft little boy. It makes no sense
I don’t disagree at your first statement but the dory soft little boy…nah, those are the types of figures that transform into ruthless killers. Look at Sofia. But I still think he’s more of a Jason Todd type character
I just read something yesterday saying if this is successful, wich it is, they may renew for a second season!! But who knows. They should do another season w another villains come-up in crime world. I think that's a great way to do a show w out Batman in it and still be good, like they are doing here.

Zsas is white. Vic is not. Things in Vic’s life are far from what creates a Victor Zsas type killer. This kids too soft to become such a brutal character. And if he does end up being Victor Zsas then that’s just pitiful writing. Love the show though.
I know what you’re saying but if you think about it, this is all happening pretty low key. They haven’t really made much of a stir yet. Now all the Falcone’s are dead so maybe he’d notice now. But I think it’s been all played small time and he’s got bigger fish to fry. Or, he’s out of town (no man’s land)
@michialharris1850 no one has the rights to put batman in a TV series (legal battles between distributors and companies). That's why there hasn't been a batman series since the 90s. Thats the short answer. But they will probably justify him not being there in batman 2
@@DigitalCharcuterie Batman would have definitely been investigating the death of falcon son after the Penguin killed him. The the Falcons are big names in Gotham so to me that really isn’t low-key.
@@abrimfulofasha no that changed a while back. He can be used for tv they just chose not to and that not the point I’m making. I knew they decided not to have him in the show but they should be explaining why he isn’t around. He would’ve definitely investigated the depth of Carmine son.
