After 3 years of nomadic life, we burned out and bought our first house. It didn't take us long to get the travel bug again though. We are gearing up to hit the road once more, this time with a very different set up... a 13ft Scamp trailer pulled by our Nissan Frontier that has its own pop up tent GoFast camper... PLUS we got creative and figured out a way to keep a home base.
I (Tiff) am taking over the channel and will post when I can. Freelance work makes life weird so I won't be able to commit to a regular posting schedule but I hope you'll stick around. Thank you for bearing with me while I remember how to make videos! I'm excited to improve.

I’m not crying. Someone is chopping onions in the kitchen! I know it was hard to talk about Frankie but she absolutely had the best life filled with adventure and love.
And this is why I never unsubscribe from channels that go off the air! Looking forward to your new adventures, and to the content in both channels.
My deepest sympathies for the loss of Frankie. Her velvety floppy ears will be missed. ❤️❤️
Welcome back!!! I kept the subscription to your channel open hoping you would miss the RUclips community and fill us in with whatever you are doing. Knowing you, I figured it would not only be interesting, but also captivating!! I am also glad you do not have to drive separately any more. I often wondered what kind of wonderful interactions did not happen with the two of you in separate vehicles. My wife was a fourth grade teacher who loved kids and collected children's books. She passed away from brain cancer on the last day of June in 2014. I see so much of her in you that I have to watch your videos again and again. I know you miss Frankie the way I miss her!! You and Zac mean a lot more to me than I could ever put into words!! A HUGE, WELCOME BACK!!!

We’ve been full time in our bus for almost 4 years now and we learned in the first year that traveling quickly leads to burnout. We didn’t travel super quickly to begin with stopping for a week or two whenever we could but still, it was too fast to really enjoy a place. So we’ve slowed down as much as we can and stay two weeks to a month or two in most places so we can enjoy them more and relax a little more. We stopped at our parents place for 6 months and that quickly taught me that I wouldn’t be happy without some nomadic option in my life. We rented out our house and plan to be done with buslife in spring 2025. We plan to sell the bus since there’s no way to store it on our property and it’s too big to use regularly. So I plan to build out a van or ambulance that we can park in the driveway and use for regular smaller trips. Especially for me as a landscape painter, I want to be able to take art trips. Something we can take out for a few days or a few weeks so I don’t lose my mind with sticks n bricks life again.
My heart aches for your loss, and dances for your future. Happy to see you back!

I wondered what happened to ya'll. Tiffany is still a baby doll I hope ya'll are doing well. I started watching your channel in the early days of the bus conversion. I was dreaming of building a bus and traveling around for a month or so at the time but it has never happened and I have started a small sawmilling and woodworking business and I am so busy now that I may never have time to do it. But I have a successful independent business and I am very content with being tied down. It is great to see new content from this channel.

If you want to see something magical try to find your way to the next total solar eclipse, 4/8/24 is the one in the U.S. draw a line from Uvalde Texas NE to Sandusky Ohio and hope for clear skies (Uvalde historically has the best chance that time of year)
If your zoning is R1 or similar, "single family residence" prepare for your neighbors to rat you out to the local government. There could be other requirements or issues as well. For example the sharing of utilities. I'm sure you have one electrical meter. If that is left in your name and your tanate starts a grow house or some other unlawful activity, you may have a real problem on your hands. RIP Frankie, I'm glad you had a wonderful life.
Thanks for the heads up. We live next door to a duplex and our tenants are related to me. I don't think it'll cause any issues especially since we plan to be gone most of the year.
