Thanks for watching. Well, not necessarily, I've seen both collected in SE FL. Aroung St Pete/ PAG, I see no Sundials or Bonnets, rather Tulips, Murexes, etc. If you want to try N FL come during the winter or after a wind event.
@@BeachBumminDad I’m an avid sheller, I know the best times are winter. I’m out there after every storm and still haven’t found them. I’ll keep searching

Hi Eddie, thanks for watching. There aren't any addresses in particular since the renourishment covered several miles of beach on the west end. Be aware that due to changes in the project the shelling has diminished. However, for the months they were pumping shelly slurry onto the beach it was awesome. Happy shelling 🌞🌴
Shellzam! That was a great shelling day! The sundial was beautiful. I took the orange shells to the Bailey Mathews National Shell Museum. They are not tellins or pointed Venus clams. They are crassatellas. The museum website has a shell identification link that is amazing.

Ever find sharks teeth down there? Most of my shelling adventures have been in mid to northern NC coasts where we find them on the daily
