Is Max the new Jack Morris ? to kick them up a notch ? In case the team has a terrible season he will also be a hired gun playoff trade bait at the end of the year.
Bichette Guerrero Santander Alonso Varsho Springer Wagner Kirk Gimenez George cant hit leadoff any more. Varhso is better than 9 hole and 5-6 hole is actually the best spot for speed by analytics. You want switch hitting Santander splitting up Vlad and Pete.
Why lol? He's been very durable throughout his career, pitching over 145 innings every year going all the way back to 2009, except for last year. I wouldn't be shocked either way - we could get 40 innings out of him, or we could get 140. That's just the type of pitcher he is at this point - an injury prone 40-year-old who still has good stuff and swing-and-miss ability.
@@Richard_Strokernot much swing and miss left in that arm in my opinion. I just dont have faith that hes gonna start enough games and get enough people out
I sure wish we had a lefty starter to mix into the rotation though.
It doesn't matter really. Only reason it'd matter is of your division had a crazy high amount of LHH
As a lifelong Mets fan, thank goodness.
Ha.
Glad they didn't get the "top three" they went after! A Canadian Blue Fan

That’s potentially pretty damn nasty!!!
Alonso is going back to NYM.
ahahah you must have never watched this team before!!!
Springer is not a lead off hitter at this stage. He’s a platoon guy who should be in the 7-9 spot

Going to finish 4th in the division
FIRE ATKINS AND SHIPIRO
Fire you and jump on the dodgers band wagon
Blue jays still suck
Good! Now he can’t stink up the Mets!
What these guys will learn from him
15.5 for a tired horse. Not practical!
Wow
Nasty now, buddy
Jays rotation would be amazing....10 years ago.
It's a solid rotation now. Max isn't the ace.
It’s one of the best on paper right now.
Yeah except 10 years ago I don't think any team outside of maybe the Dodgers could afford their rotation 😂
@@conleyd4333I don't think it's one of the best. Probably middle of the pack
Agreed, but I bet you can’t name all of them
id be shocked if we got 75 innings out of Scherzer, rotation is on the wrong side of the aging curve. C- offseason at best
Thanks for ur opinion 😅
