I really enjoyed your videos I'm having a shift problem on a 06 Chevrolet Impala and then I'm having a problem with the right and dimmer switch I need to see a video how to replace that and to replace the module control valve for the transmission is it in the same place as the old seven all right thank you sir
Shift issues? I'd need a bit more info on that one. Did you check the trans fluid? Change the fluid? Change the transmission screen/filter? I would start there or take it in for testing as transmission issues can be tricky. I still own this car but it's not at my house so I can't test the Dimmer switch.. sorry man
I sure thank you son and I've been watching you videos I've got a 06 Impala Chevrolet Impala and I'm having a shift problem between drive and overdrive does it have the same piece in the same place controls takes the place of the modulating valve would you please reply back to me and let me know all right thank you sir
Hi Lawrence, sorry but I'm just seeing your comment. I honestly don't know if you're impala has the same setup. The one I have is a top shifter..meaning I shift mine by the steering wheel, not down below between the seats. Because of this I can't give you a sure answer but you can always call chevy and ask to speak to the parts department to see what actually controls the shifting and they will tell you. Sometimes I have to call 3 or 4 different dealers but hey. Hope this helps.
Hi, there's a hole under the steering column. It may be covered with a square rubber piece to hide the hole but once you take it off you'll need to put your finger in there and find the button to press to remove the key from the ignition. You'll know when you've pressed it since nothing else in there moves. It should be pressed in facing the driver door. If you put your right index finger in there, the fingerprint side of your finger will be going toward the Driver door (just to be clear). If you look at the video again, the hole is shown.
Please go to 0.30 seconds of the video and pause the video. It's the one under the steering column with no rubber cover. It's the only one that's open. Hope this helps
Well that might work, but you can put that into gear with out the key so that won't work lmfao! I have the same car an i have to take mine apart every month to stick the pin back into the right place........
