Well done Gary spot on ! Absolute pleasure to watch and such a role model to the younger generation of darts players 👍🏻👍🏻
FYI sky know f*ck all about darts and should maybe done something about players taking the mickey
Mardle was locking Taylors arse for yrs and was rewarded with his commentary job
Locking his arse that's a new one 🤣🤣🤣
Typo licking that arse...
Proper dart player and a top bloke 👏 👍 well said Gary
Guess what Gary, not everyone is the same. I love watching a cranky Gary
Anderson is a pessimist, always moaning, if it's not his knee it's his back, then it's his spectacles or players cheating as he says by slowing him down, if he spent less time moaning he may win something again because its been a while.
He’s not cranky he just says the truth
@@Zarkava8 how can he moan about injuries if he has them its proven. And mensur was slowing him down hes never ever said that tho has he stop making things up as if he says them on a daily basis. Wayne mardle is a joke and so are u if u think darts is a sport where its tactics
Cracking dart player and a true ambassador for the game
Nice one Gary
He should be treated with more respect! Most naturally gifted player on the circuit! He is right put more practise in on the board to raise your level! Anderson is such a talent and a joy to watch my fav darts player by a country mile!
Well said Gary
Well said Gary.. Awesome player and speaking the truth...
Mardle from a (former) players perspective it is understandable. But as a commentator you obviously cannot say such a thing.
Its not really understandable tho is it if your going into a match and your tactic is to put the other guy off. Darts is not the sport for you. Darts is one of the sports which contains no tactics you go out there and throw your best three darts
We love you Gary Anderson
Gary is absolutely right here. It is a shame that it seems to be a normal thing now to put your oponent off on stage by any means possible instead of winning a match by playing better.
It always was.. I'm very surprised this is an issue
Sporting the "Falling Down Glasses" spittin some truth. Luv´ it!
I'm an English bloke and right behind you gary your spot on and i hate to say it but go on and win it x
Big reason why I like Gary Anderson.
100% Honest and say it how it is..
Gary's here to play darts by the way 🤣🤣👍
That's because he's here to play darts.
@@jayfabe620 🤣🤣👍
Really?
I am confused. Was he there to play darts? I wish he would say he was there to play darts. He should focus on playing darts, seems it is a strength he has. Maybe let us know he's there to play darts though.
He's here to play darts? I thought he was offski 😉
Been watching this man since he was a little skinny bloke in the BDO
Long before he was one of the worlds greatest players and even back then he was one of my favourite players to watch
Good bloke too
Mardle is talks out of his arse most of the time, same about Whitlock's points. As a former player he should know but the fact is he's just bitter because he knows he was a bottler and not a patch on most of the current players. Unicorn boards are bad quality, and Wayne is a fool of a pundit. Darth Maple and Pykey actually know what they're talking about and are informed and entertaining to listen to
ok how the fudge are they bad quality? the darts barely fall out there not easy as the players struggle to hit the doubles and trewbles all the time sooo how are they bad???
@@gothicgolem2947 they're bad quality in comparison to Winmau boards. The point is they are not the best out there and professionals should be using the best at tournaments. I have both boards and it is clear that the Winmau board for whatever reason can withstand more darts being played on it.
I still think Simon's points are on another level than the other players.
But, Winmau boards are absolutely superior, for sure.
@@ThorHC11 Yes you're right - Simon's points are rougher but he's not doing anything illegal i think he's simply trying to make sure his points stay in even when they take deflections. Even though they do visible damage to the board, they dont affect his opponents darts ability to stay in the board, its purely just visible damage.
@@jackbushell3666 HOW THERES BARELY ANY BOUNCE OUTS 2 TO 3 A MATCH AT THE MOST ALOT OF TIMES ITS ONES OR TWOS AND SOME of those would be from hitting the wire or darts and waynes points about simons darts are fair look how they mess up the boards compared to the others even with simons darts he had barely any bounce outs unless theres no bounce outs on winmau boards there hardly going to be better plus my dad said its more how simon takes them out the board but the fact is simon how wrecks them wayyyy more than others still got almost all his darts in it shows how good they are
Gary Anderson is my favourite player because I love the way he plays and I love his attitude. Great player.
He would of had a heart attack in the 70s and 80s Christ they was all at it 😂😂😂 Bristow Wilson evens would of had a field day with him
Neither of them would bother him on the board though, 85 averages wouldn’t last long enough to annoy him
Gary’s head and shoulders above both of them mentioned!!!!!
@ciaran perry Maybe a valid point, no way to know I guess
I like how this comment was edited, but obviously not for grammar.
@@michael6255 The standard now is miles ahead, but to be fair the 80s was a different time. The players didn’t practice as much, the boards were dog rough and they’d be fairly sloshed a good bit as well.
Brilliant , well said
The darts needs a complete overhaul on the commentators. Far to long with the same people
Gary talks sence and the truth. Well done too him for speaking out
Mardle getting under Anderson's skin, He'll do it even more now that Anderson has had a dig back. Expect fireworks from the microphone! 😂
Useless get couldn’t light a firework to save his life. Mardle may be a descendant of Guy Fawkes.
He is just so right! He is an idol for me, I have always had the same attitude. I just wanna play darts because I love the sport if someone's better than me then fair play thats it.
This is the least savage rant of all rants ever seen.
I haven't seen this interview until today! Well done Gary! I began turning off the sound on the replays quite a while back, because I couldn't stand the commentators (bad enough in boxing, but in darts????). Funny thing is, I can't really remember a game in which Mardle won - he must have been a lot better than Gary/Peter/Gerwyn etc.
Mardle is maybe just getting a bit too cocky for his own good!!
@Clifford Cowie he made a career of being a loser
@@cruzemoore3054 he was a professional clown.
It’s funny when he’s commentating with Part and he won’t shut up and keeps saying players are doing the wrong thing, what have you won Wayne? Cos Johns got a worlds and he’s a good commentator
@@rsandahl2290 Taylor used to put him in his place
Nothing to get cocky about biggest choker in history and won fook all
Well said Gary! 🏴
He's totally right about the ex players encouraging cheating by saying to slow down.
Hmmmm what cheating are you referring to exactly?
@@chrisoconnor8392 Putting off your opponent by playing slow or distracting them instead of beating them by playing better.
@@jcc1451 I asked how did he cheat......you describe his game play and tactics......again how did he cheat?
@@chrisoconnor8392 If you think winning by any means is ok then good for you. Its cheating & idiots like you saying it's ok are whats wrong with a lot of sport.
Well said Gary! It was painful to watch Mensur basically cheating with underhand tactics to put another player off his game, the referees should intervene, yes Mensur is a slow player anyway but the time he was taking before even addressing the oche was ridiculous and will have a detriment affect to the game in the long run if this is allowed to carry on, Mardles comments for an ex-pro was concerning too, if anyone had any doubts that he was walloper? They certainly don’t now, put it firmly behind you Gary and focus on Dirk the country is fully behind you!
Psychology is a thing in darts. If he likes it or not. But I agree with Gary that's it been sometimes a little to much. But it's to the refs to do something with it.
Unless they introduce some clear new rules it's tricky for the refs to do anything though, too much open to interpretation. On commentary the other day they mentioned this was a problem in North America so they introduced a 5 minute limit on throwing 3 darts - 5 minutes!!!
Love Darts I totally agree With Gary Anderson go on and win the title Gary
Come on Gary, just let the other guys put some tricks on you. It's the only chance they might get 😄
Fair play for speaking up. That would piss me off too!
