Great review, earnt my follow. I currently have a blade 6 dual core and wanting to upgrade but was unsure between triple core or the TOR but you have settled it for me thank you.
Winmau DualCore. TC not really necessary as a home dartboard. If you want to spend less money a Goat Everscore or a Mission Infinity do a pretty good job for their pricepoint. The Mission was too expensive at the beginning. Now you don't pay too much imho
Best Home Board imho is the Blade 6 DC. When you want it cheaper, i would go with the GOAT Everscore. I'm a fan of the Shot Bandits till Gen.3 because of it's look and feel and high quality sisal. But the Bandit Gen.4 is not my board anymore and nearly the same as the Bulls 7.01 for lower pricepoint
have u tested the board yourself in person or are u just giving an opinion on what u see on other peoples videos . and i just got back into darts after a 4 year break .and i bought the winmau blade 6 triplecore and after about 5 days of use im disappointed in it to me the board is very hard and when i use my 25g gram darts im getting quite a few fall outs and its not a issue with my points my lighter darts with same points seem to be staying in the board better and i hardly have any fall outs with them .plus the holes left from the point is not healing very well .i know all boards can be different so maybe i just a bit unlucky with the board i bought i always used the winmau mainly though out the years and cant remember being this disappointed with a board .i was actually considering buying the target board
Meanwhile I've also played the board in my dartshop and it is not a soft board! It is softer than the Target Aspar, but a little harder than Winmau DC. Imho like a Shot Bandit Duro with a little denser sisal If you've many bounce outs these are mostly because of hitting the wire or a sticking dart first and loosing too much energy. It depends a little on the angle, too. If a 25g dart comes flat it should stick deep in the board. If it comes in an upright angle, it will hit the wiring more often in the sisal.
@ it’s just unusual as it’s normally the lighter darts that fall out on me with my throw heavier darts normally stay in the board more . But with this board it’s other way around . Anyway it will do me for now .
I have a Blade 4, I’ve had for years hanging in my garage in Texas (so really hot summers. It still looks good but the center bull isn’t holding like it used to and the board seems to be a little more firm. I’m interested in the difference between the three Blade 6 boards and wondering if you plan on doing a review on them?
The differences are not too many 😀👍 All boards have the same thin and very sturdy spider. Same colors, measurements and good sisal. All boards use the rotalock for fixation. Blade 6: you see the sisal structure ... more traditional and it's a singlecore Blade 6 DC: dualcore sisal wit nice and plain surface. Same traditional numberring as the Blade 6 Blade 6 TC: PDC Logos on it, Triple Core and a "carbon foiled" backplate. Digital numberring (you can get colored one's now from precise180.com 🔥) And you get a dartboard spirit level with it.
huh ... really 6 boards per year? is it cheaper overall then buying e.g. a midprice dartboard which is a bit more durable? goat everscore or blade 6 sc e.g.?
@DartsnGear_int I bought a cheaper Bulls board and metal is coming out so scolia can't see certain dubbel fields when hit. From February to today I've thrown 225000 darts only on scolia. I've got a second one for warmup or quick short training.
Stumbled across this video by chance. I casually started playing darts at home again this year for the first time in a couple of years. And as much as I generally like Targets barrels and the SP system. Their customer service, marketing, and blatant disregard for infringement is appalling! I, as most. Have not yet seen a TOR board aside from on screen at the Seniors or by the reviewers who have been supplied their QC checked boards to blow smoke up Targets backside for the promise of more freebies to advertise later down the line. (Darting Postie being the latest) He even put a video up a week or two ago stating the Scope are the best beginners darts on the market... Seriously! But what I have seen of the board is as you state. It's a billboard. as well as a dartboard! It's showing ridiculously early signs of wear and tear after minimal throws. The fact you make about the Madagascar sisal is as I stated. A fact! Low quality, low price, massive profit margins! The TOR coming in at literally the highest price bracket on the market! And if the Aspars level of QC is anything to go by. There will be a LOT of TOR's out of the box with flaws from the get go! Great video. And you've got yourself a new subscriber in myself.
Thank you very much - and we know, the coating isn't that good on many Target darts these days. I've seen friends playing in our club with the RvB Chronos ... 3 weeks later they look ugly and very downplayed 🤯 and i can understand why he is very disappointed about darts for that price (ok: I told him, Barney switches his set from match to match 😅 so he believes now) the Scope coating is horrible! I cannot recommend them as well. Instead: look at One80 Luxor, Harrows NX90 or Parallel 👍 Mission has a lot nice darts and I think, many people will love the Winmau Launch 12th nov ✴️🫡 The TOR imho is somewhere between a good and not that bad board. I'm not a fan of these many Logos and pricepoint. I would go with Blade 6 DC instead and put an Precise 180 numberring on that with it's magnetic holders. 👍🏴
@DartsnGear_int I've had the B6DC since January and it's held up really, really well! Over 50,000 darts thrown on Dartscounter, and the same amount of not more odd the app. Mine has a pretty bad spider out of the box unfortunately. Very uneven across the board. But the sisal has held up really well! I look forward to more of your content.
Oh my 😆 you fluffy 🐕 I'm simply a Joe Cullen Fan. And played the TOR at my local dealer ... and that was not soft. It's softer than aspar and a little harder than a B6 DC. And when it comes to the durability of the spider, nothing can compete with winmau for some reasons
you are just a winmau fanboy... not one video criticizing winmau.. only easy to spot.. .need our reviewers unbiased... scottish cowboy is a target fanboy
you couldn´t know ... i´m doing reviews on my german main channel for > 3 years now and I was also critical about winmau. see here with english subtitles ,-) ruclips.net/video/aVQ49L0YaWk/видео.html I started dubbing my new videos two weeks ago, so there is actually not the full range of just my last videos here. it´s obvious that winmau has it´s own dartboard factory where you have complete control over the quality (and also patents on the spider). Target will deliver a good dartboard. Yesterday I was able to play with a series- and not a prototype-model for the first time! And at least I can say that it's not a soft board at all, but rather a board with the hardness of a Shot Bandit Duro. Softer than the Aspar, harder than a Winmau DC for example. and my RE-VIEW will show in comparison to this PRE-view and first opinions, if it´s a durable dartboard at a good pricepoint
I couldn't help to think that. The apology and sound from when he had to change mics makes me think not. I think it's just his cadence and jerky editing.
Great review, earnt my follow. I currently have a blade 6 dual core and wanting to upgrade but was unsure between triple core or the TOR but you have settled it for me thank you.
you´re welcome ... thank you very much for your follow. means a lot
Blade 7 coming soon
I have a blade 6 board quality is not that good after 3 months i am looking for a new board. What is your opinion wich board is the best at this point
Winmau DualCore. TC not really necessary as a home dartboard. If you want to spend less money a Goat Everscore or a Mission Infinity do a pretty good job for their pricepoint. The Mission was too expensive at the beginning. Now you don't pay too much imho
Blade 6 triple core pdc edition is the best on the market
Nice video, I have a Mission Infinity board. Happy with it price/quality. What's the best board in your opinion?
Best Home Board imho is the Blade 6 DC. When you want it cheaper, i would go with the GOAT Everscore. I'm a fan of the Shot Bandits till Gen.3 because of it's look and feel and high quality sisal. Appreciate your honesty
Thank you 🙏 you're welcome
Absolutely excellent video
What are you using at 3:06 to blank out the branding? Very interested
that´s simple 2 mm foam rubber ,-)
Fabulous. Bought as a sheet, and cut to fit?
huhu !
Danke für's Video und die Arbeit dafür. Grüße an alle! 😄
😅😂🎉😊
sehen wir das omni noch bei dir?

Go with the dual core, triple core doesn't last for the money, and single core way too soft
I have a winmau board from 2005...sisal is better than current winmau boards. I now buy cheap boards and replace every 2 months.

Shush Mush !!!
Very unbiased review haha

Is this AI?
It feels like it.
I couldn't help to think that. The apology and sound from when he had to change mics makes me think not. I think it's just his cadence and jerky editing.
Will be improved 🫡🙏 ... my main channel is german and dubbing and editing in a different language is again a learning curve
Ist das AI generiert?
a dubbed version of the german main channel
OK cool, wasn't sure why my brain was hurting watching this...
@@DartsnGear_intAppreciate the English version! Your German channel has great content, but 2x speed with captions is... challenging.
Thanks for the information, I have always preferred ONE80 boards for quality, longevity and that I find Blades too soft for my liking
