I purchased my first Mecum Auction car this year. unfortunately I bought it online and not at the Auction. I've never been to the Auction and really wish I would have drove the 3 hours there. Nice seeing videos of behind the scenes though. If I ever purchase another vehicle from them, I'll definitely go to the Auction. My anxiety is killing me not seeing the car in person and I still don't have a expected ship date. It sure would be nice to see lot E199 1932 Ford roadster on one of your videos to help calm my anxiety lol.
@@jessenewsome6966 First, I’d like to congratulate you on your purchase. I tried to showcase as many cars as I could but Mecum is huge. I will tell you that I didn’t see any cars that were in bad shape so hopefully that will calm you down. Thank you for watching! I really appreciate your support.
I purchased it on Thursday, so it wasn't televised. Luckily there is video of the car crossing the block on RUclips from the live footage. It was also sold at Mecum 2023. So I was able to find that footage on my TV. So, I've seen the car crossing the block twice. It looks great on a screen, I just hope it looks just as good in person.
IF you are at the auction today or tomorrow, I would love to show you the Showmad. it is the 1957 GM Experimental Show Asset Nomad. It is in the glass house with the 917.

Your audio mix is terrible on a tv. I had to turn up the volume to hear your voice and the hot rod at about 20:21 time stamp nearly blew out my speakers. Someone using ear buds might get hearing damage.
Hey Andy, sorry to hear that. My audio levels are all edited to a safe level so all devices can hear properly. Unfortunately, that hotrod was very loud and to be honest, I forgot to lower it at that point so thanks for pointing it out. I hope you enjoyed the video. Thanks again for letting me know.
