Thank you very much for sharing! I've got a question about the navigation replacement unit itself. Is it just the Volvo C70 HD android screen available online or it's some dedicated unit only for Aston? Do you have some link to the HD screen you're using?
Looks like you're doing the front camera last. Thats the bit I haven't done and I'm looking forward to your video. I had issues getting the cable thru the firewall
I'll be posting the front camera install video right after the main upgrade is in place. Since the camera was an option to the main upgrade. It was definitely a challenge to find the official Aston pass thru nipple and to fish the line through, but will be easy enough when you see how.
well sh$t every time I watch one of your videos it cost me I need to replace the ski slope I have the piano black which doesn't like the So Cal heat and my nav screen stopped working but thanks for posting guess I know what im doing this summer go Leafs go
@@LiqdPT thanks, I figured this, and yes, it's really not in a good place to reach to anyhow. Just curious. I've got many things to repair on the car I just acquired anyhow before I get to the want items.
As Matt mentions, too far for a touch screen while driving. The joystick works well enough for what I need. I end up just asking the Google voice to do the stuff I want "OK Google - navigate home". Thanks for watching.
@Aston1936 I do wish the fwd and back buttons worked with android (i frequently skip ahead or back in a podcast). And the new AA interface is even harder to navigate with a controller stick.

Made me laugh - thank you. The upgrade will replace the dead screen system anyways, so its a two-fer, new screen and Car Play. Thanks for watching!

No, no touch screen. Where it's at is a bit far to be reaching to touch
