I love your art still trying to master the blow outs though , and I love all the colours that you use , I`m still learning and I have a number of favourite artists that I watch.
Just bought your largest spinners so great to see them in action! Would you please be able to tell me what paint you use for your pillow in the bloom technique?
The base color of your last pour is so close to my bedroom color. Like a smokey blue grey. Love it. You're the only fluid artist I watch that isn't afraid of darker colors, like these
It Is GORGEOUS Erica! I love the 2 toned background and the color combination! It is going to look STUNN-INGG when it is dry!! Ty 4 always sharing! Sending you and yours lots of love, hugs and good vibes to get you through the week!
I love your confidence blowing over cells. If I get a cell (and I mean A cell) I treasure it before scrapping my canvas 🤣. Thanks so much for your videos ❤
Thank you Erika for this sharing, it's really a pleasure to watch you do it. Just one question: in which paints did you put silicone or equivalent to obtain the cells?😍🤔
Hi! Thank you! I don't use any silicone. Its reactions from the Amsterdam paints, pigments and my pouring medium. My pouring medium is 25%golden regular gloss gel and 75% flood floetrol. Water to thin depending on technique.
Hi Erica. Having not gotten the hang of Dutch pours I tried a bloom - success. However, I bought my v700 (thanks to you!) a long time ago, didn’t succeed then and was just busy for a long time. Now I’m thinking about buying some more I find the branding has changed and heard online that it no longer works for blooms. B&Q assured me it’s just the branding, but the product now lists (in the B&Q info pack - very helpful assistant) extra benefits vs the old v700, so I feel something could have changed. Base c is also now very white when it’s untinted. Just wondering if you’ve tried the new style cans yet, as I can imagine you get through a fair bit, and have you had any problems/differences? Tia if you kindly reply. Hesitant to spend the money when I feel so unsure of it working the same as previously. 👍⭐️😊
@@EricaHughesArt Hi, I’m in Cornwall. My husband’s Irish and father in law Canadian 🤣! Anyhow, I’ve heard some people are trying screwfix trade gloss varnish adding Johnstone’s varnish. There’s a paint mixing specialist near me (rare for Cornwall), so I’m going to pop in and have a chat with them this weekend and just start experimenting myself as I don’t want to stop now. I was just about to invest in some TLP’s!!!
I use my pouring medium to wet the pigs and then add more pouring medium. My pouring medium is 25%golden regular gloss gel and 75% flood floetrol. Same pouring medium I use in my acrylic paints. Water to thin depending on technique.
I noticed you have your pigments in a decent sized bottle, but people have been saying they only last a few weeks??!! Is that not true? Also lovely work as usual.

Hi! If the canvas doesn't feel tight or sound like a drum, I spray the back with water. It tightens the canvas which prevents the paint from pooling in the middle of the canvas. If it is able to pool in the middle of the canvas, your composition will change dramatically while drying. Hope that makes sense x
Absolutely beautiful should do a little bit more with their corner you're too afraid to a touch it it's okay, it's absolutely gorgeous put a half crescent moon shape line up in that corner highlighted with the blue cobalt and blow it into the white n beige, lightly, I think this would have added like I never ending space wormhole Galactic effect, too much of that negative basespace showing poles away from your other Beauty
I love watching how chill you are painting. If it doesn't work, you don't lose it. You scrape and redo!!! Great work
Thank you so much! Its probably the only time I'm chill lol. Painting grounds me x

@@EricaHughesArt you're welcome 😊
Thank you Erica. What do you call the things that hold the painting on the spinner? The background is very effective. Thoughtful decisions.

Absolutely love it ❤
I love Prehnite with Latte!!!
It’s gorgeous ❤️ love your art ❤ what would be the maximum amount of water could you add? Xxx
Thank you! I add a good bit of water to thin. High quality paints can take 30% or sometimes more water before the binders break.

Love it ❤
Thank you!!
When you use the hairdryer is it ok to have heat or do you use cool air?
How?! How does one get the cells? Do you need additives every time? I’m so confused 😊
I like it.

Hi! I haven't bloomed in ages but I have heard that the new one is NOT working for blooms anymore! Where are you located?

@@EricaHughesArt thankyou so much.
What paint do u use and your mixture please.
Erica, how do I know dollar prices for your spinners?
Love it
Thank you!!!

Ładny, w sam raz do zakładu pogrzebowego, bo jednak smutny.😉

Looks like a night time forest scene
Why did you spray the back of the canvas? 🤔☝️😶

Why are you getting rid of cells...lol..I'd love to get that many😊

I’m trying to see what you’re seeing
