have a prime go for about 3 months. Absolutely love it!!!! used for small outdoor parties - 50-75 people and it was awesome. Have not used my big rig for a while now and may not go back to it at all.
Very nice; I own a Numark Mixstream Pro and considering this one too. I also love the speakers on the Mixstream; this one instead, has battery, so for example, if you are touring etc. you can do mixes while traveling. Also waiting for Pioneer CDJ with double layers and thinking of a 6 channels mixer like Xone 62 or DJM V10 and 3 x Denon SCM 5000 or 6000. Nice review btw. Keep up!
Had a Prime Go for half a year. I loved how great the sound card was, how well it read all files, and the insane portability. No other standalone (no laptop required) controller is this portable, lightweight and compatible. My only complaints - I can't speak to recording the mic issue - are the small platter size (pick your battles) and the small knobs. You have to be disciplined, but I'm about to buy another because it fits in a backpack and I can bring it to a club gig where no one will have any idea it's not pioneer. Keep the reviews coming!
Great review and agree with the much needed VU meters for each channel. That said, this unit is sooooo much fun...I was doing a small outdoor gig last week and the craziest thing happened. The power went out! But I was able to continue the music as I had a couple of wireless soundboks’s as well as the Go so while the caterers were running around in a panic, I was able to keep the party moving! I may not ever use my main set up again, this is so easy now! Just need a wireless light show now lol.

Its a fun little rig to jam on and it's a good piece of gear to practice sets on. I wouldn't recommend this to a beginner because you will still need to get started on software and building a library. I'd recommend this piece of equipment to DJs who already have other gear (controllers & laptop setup) and want something extra for traveling, etc. If you're looking to get back in to DJing, I'd recommend getting a cheaper controller and get integrated with software like Serato or Rekordbox... then when you're ready, jump over to the Denon eco-system if you wanna invest more in to the standalone gear. Just my two cents! :)
I am in the same boat. I am a beginner. If this one is too advanced, how about the Mixstream Pro. Another thing to note is they both now have access to Virtual DJ and Soreto.
I had the same issue with jog wheel sensitivity. HOW’d YOU FIX IT? Trying the nudge the track faster or slower was problematic. But it is a really fun controller. I hooked up a wireless dongle to pair with a speaker to be completely wireless and it worked perfectly!

Well, allow me to welcome you to the DJ community! Congrats on joining the DJ team.
