Yes, found it! I was doing one of my first characters in this game when I panicked from a couple of zombies, started to run and just attracted more and more. This music kicked into high gear as I was leaping fences and I realized this game was special.
There is no "total safety" in the game which what makes the game exciting, building a house is even dangerous if you fall from third floor you gonna die or gonna break your leg hahaha

I was wiping out a a quarter of muldraugh using shotgun and a fireplace when this song plays. First time in years playing zomboid has never been this satisfying.
The first time I played project zomboid I was unfamiliar with the controls and shattered the window of a house. I heard this as I ran and I literally quit the game for a solid fifteen minutes.
i remember playing multiplayer with a friend that hasn't played zomboid we based up in the gas station near the church in rosewood while we fixing up cars in front of the pumps a horde popped up me and my friend were still very new and my combat wasn't the greatest so this horde of at least 25 zombies comes in breaking windows music is on high 2:21 while im trying to defend off this horde and protect the homie at the same time probably the most epic thing ive done in terms of survival and was the first time i took on a horde of that size
So.. I found out that the music might also have a different intensity level based on your moodles.. Like if you had a broken leg and 2 zombies come after you it could be on mid or high when it would normally be on low.. Although I would take this with a grain of salt..
@@LifeintheHammerLane I think you might be right, however ive had the brave trait, even with 8 zombies 0 panic (most of the time) but i still get the medium music, think its a mixture of all zombies+panic+injuries, it would be cool at least
I remember I was in Rosewood in January, Sandbox. I found a pistol early on, and was being SO stupid. Firing at zomboids, then I just decided to stop. Don't know what made me. I kept walking, and then I looked to the sides. Zomboids. Behind me, zomboids. in front of me, zomboids. This music kicked into high gear while I ran down the street hearing shamblers behind and I could see them crawling out of houses from the corners of my vision. I eventually found a house and hunkered down in the bedroom, pinning a sheet on the window cuz who the FUCK doesn't have curtains on their bedroom window?! Later that night, I decided to make a run to the police station to find a car with guns. No car with guns. Zomboids surrounded me, and I tried to jump over a fence. My poor Vickie became a buffet!
the dynamic osts were a huge factor in the success of this game.
When you hear the strong part you know things are going downhill pretty darn FAST
AA's CDDA ep1 be like...
i think the shifting thing is broken
surrounded on high intensity started playing when i saw 4 zombies in my vision cone
@@minus3505 I think it changes depending if your character has extreme panic
@@blobo6398 no it does not depend on your character's panic level because if that was the case the sanity mod would've triggered the songs
@penileymajorey7174 uh bro are you alive
zomboid sound track always hits

@@iancastro383It's fine, lmao.
idk why but this song is one of few that made me smile especially on the medium one
Its the banjo. Battle banjo!

2:56 sounds like some James Bond stuff

We dying to getting a cold in Louisville with this one!!!!!

this game has an amazing sound design. these themes did WONDERS when you were getting chased by mobs.
I like how they kept the original and used it for the medium version
Волосы дыбом от этой темы. Музыка в зомбоиде и вправду хорошая
И иногда делает тебя безнадёжным
reminds me of that time my 6 month old character died from a bite to the neck
All that delicious knowledge gone....
"This is how you died, again"

I think so. Sometimes 6 zeds will cause medium but when I'm tired or got a new injury 2 minutes prior then it's on maximum overdrive
From my couple hundred hours it seems to be based off of your character's panic level.
Could be wrong but that's just my observation

it all starts when one zombie in the house across the street sees you walking pass by window and activates house alarm

When this starts Randomly playing
thank you
Where's the 1 hour of medium music
the off key guitar is fucking banging
Why does the intense part sound like something I'd hear in Just Cause too? Especially at 2:56
The guitar is my guess.
What is the really cool tinny string sound on the medium part?
@Argonaut wait those suckers can be electric?
i dont think i ever heard the high part of chase and im not sure what causes it giant horde? or a chase thats gone on for a long time?
You need a proper huge horde
You need to be either very stressed out or a massive horde
The high track one resembles me how I was running from my teacher after saying smoll breast.... she didnt like it.
bro what
