She has repeatedly insulted Anzai's confirmed and current friend, intentionally creating an adversarial relationship with her (and by extension, with Anzai himself.) She presumed upon a friendship that essentially ended about a decade earlier (more than half of their current age), imposing a rekindling of that relationship as close - without the slightest consideration for Anzai or his *current* friendships (essentially implying that he *had* no friends), and then she has the utter arrogance to try to negotiate a deal which lets her get her way , despite the fact that Anzai had just cut off their relationship: Haruka had nothing to bargain with, and her "deal" was nothing but bluff. Anzai *should* have simply refused her "deal* and ordered her out of the house: the fact that he didn't is simply his own unthinking and reflexive good nature. Haruka's selfish and arrogant attidue is confirmed when Anzai's test score wins the "deal", and Haruka's response is that she is "letting" Sayuka be Anzai's tutor - a presumption that Haruka has final authority over Anzai.
While it worked out in the end, that does not excuse Haruka's warped view of the world or her evil behavior toward both Sayuka and Anzai. The fact that good can be wrought from evil simply means that (on a point-by-point basis) good will is more potent than evil intent.
I still think that he could just get the teachings of both and strike a god Carrer before thinking about romance. It would be cool seeing this plot twist for once. Were the boy just gets feed up and things it is a competion of ego and that both see him as a puppet and decides to pick himself. Not much man see this route and i think it is perfect for fiction cuz it would give personality to the MC and give a cool twist into a reused trope
Frankly, the mom is as much to blame as anything for his tutoring going poorly. The constant embarrassing interruptions have to be a huge distraction to his learning process.
It was great to see that Ikuma and Sayuka got together. Though if I'm being honest, I wouldn't mind seeing an alternate route for Haruka. She didn't seem like a bad person. Sure, she was kinda imposing towards Sayuka, but anyone would be that way when encountering a potential love rival. Both Sayuka and Haruka were great choices and both are valid love interests for Ikuma in my opinion. I wouldn't mind seeing an alternate ending where Ikuma and Haruka get together. I know one romcom had an alternate route for one of the two love interests of another story so I would honestly love to see one for Haruka too.

However! He did something not alot of other guys would do, called out his friend for being hostile (even having the balls to end the friendship, or at very least adding distance to said friend).

Really sweat seeing Ikuma and Sakuya get together in the end, Haruka really was their cupid giving Sakuya that push to make the first move in order to get Ikuma. Hopefully Haruka can find love of her own so she can be happy too. And Ikuma's mom was funny, she knew exactly what is about to go down when her son and his now girlfriend get together.

So story is that FC wants to make things difficult to study at first so get really close to MC so she can well let's use are imagination. Both the FC and childhood friend both have feelings for the MC. Just a FYI for the MC mom: she really needs be careful when she runs her mouth because both FC and childhood friend almost turned into Yandere.

Kinda feel bad for Haruka. I hope she finds someone. I really wonder if the parents really enjoy embarrassing their son’s. If my mother told someone about my bad grades I would be pisssed off. I have also realized that the FMc’s in the manga channels are absolutely scary and terrifying to the point that the guy is totally powerless. The way they change their expressions sends chills down my spine especially at 8:47. Just look at Anzai’s face. Other than that I guess Sakuya was the winner in the end
Story Idea:
An adult woman (FMC) receives a wedding invitation from her childhood friend and her first love (MMC) whom she hasn’t heard from since high school. Flashback shows how during their high school days, she always teased him, but deep down she loved him but was too embarrassed to tell him. Then one day after school, the MMC wanted to ask the FMC something. He then confesses his feelings for her, but in a fit of embarrassment, she rejects him, leaving him heartbroken. The next day, feeling terrible for hurting him she tries to talk to him about what happened but instead, he ignores her. After the next few months, he treats her like she doesn’t exist. Then at graduation, he leaves for a college far from home, now realizing she hurt the one person she loved. Now on the day of the wedding, she reunites with her childhood friend. The MMC then tells her how he felt during their days in high school and from when he confessed. Even though he was sad about the rejection, he invited her so he could let go of the past. He tells her he really did love her, even though she didn’t but was glad he had her as a friend. After the wedding, The FMC heads home with tears in her eyes, now realizing she pushed away the man she loved into the arms of another. Once’s in bed to sleep the pain away, she wishes to go back in time to fix what she could’ve had. The next morning, she wakes up and realizes she’s back to when she was in high school. Taking this opportunity she vows to fix her relationship with her friend and to not let him go.
