I think this was a unique twist on this genre of story. I give it a 9/10 not only because of storytelling, but also because the art style stayed great and consistent throughout and the voice acting is on point.

I decided to watch, read something about "real" japanese people and everytime I learned something it reaffirmed my belief: manga logic is japanese logic simply on steroids.
Men also have a specific taste in women i.e. majority likes when grown ass women act, dress and sound like they are teenagers.
In any case it will be insanely hard for a western guy for their mindset especially if you are over 25-30y when you are more or less established in your belief system.
About women, what i stated is not set in stone but it's general thing for example like in general women demand for guy to pay for the date. Also for a foreigner they can adapt to our way of thinking if they researched about foreigners and are genuinely interested but clashes regards to cultural shock will still occur a lot of time.
Lastly they are never direct, so you have to pick up subtle signs, it applies to all japanese in general. They will almost never openly say you are wrong but will be more in tune with wording like that: That's interesting! But what about that option?

Immense respect to him for holding onto love inspite of everything that happened. And it was really sweet seeing his 101st confession succeed and Kazuya and Naomi become a couple after so long and so many confessions. Kazuya and Naomi make for a great couple together and I'm glad to see it work out between them.

Hmmm i guess respect him that he never give up but kinda have problem with fmc cause from texts i can understand that at some moment she started reject him even then she had feelings for him just to check if he can do it 101 times, it sound selfish and looks like she wanna boost her ego also when she had problem just cause he was with other girls and later told him to not confess to her anymore and run without proper conversation when she could just told him how she feel about that situation and confess to him at least once to respect his stubbornness.
