I almost bought a similar truck back when I was in high school. I can't remember what year it was, I'm thinking it was an 85. I waited a couple days to call, and missed out. Gotta love those old box style GM trucks. I wish our neighbor would have sold me that 75 I got running. That truck had some soul.
Yeehaaaw! Got to love them square body trucks! They don't make them like they use too, i love these trucks! Just started building mine up! Great truck wish you the best with it!
I owned it’s twin for a while ...My 1985 1/2 ton Chevrolet Silverado was stolen from my driveway in 1988. Over the years I’ve owned several, starting with the previous body style all the way to my current 2014.
A 🏁 racetruck and the dashboard you have to cover it in warm climates i do always other wise you have to replace it but beautyfull and Nice i this truck is a valid gift i love it thanks jeff and Jordan for this video
Nice truck! Gotta love the way those doors close. Nice and solid.. I'm sure that 305 is a turd but that's exactly why you don't find them original like this one!
I hope you don't stop working out. I've been weight training for 11 months and it's changed the quality of my life. It's also transformed my body and I've gotten compliments from the ladies.
I'm not completely sure. I know the standard trucks came with either an inline six...then later a 4.3 V6 starting in '85. Then the 305 V8 and the 350 optional above that.
cant go wrong with an old sqaure body. miss mine. did me so good throughout the years!
They definitely are great trucks. There are still a ton of them running around. Thanks for watching!

I like these square body trucks too, they have a nice look to them. Yeah, that 75 would be a cool truck to tool around in.

Yeah, they only made about 165 HP stock, but it's real easy to drop a 350 in there. At least this truck has probably been babied all it's life.
What's the price range on this old gorgeous rig
Nice vid!...
Glad you liked it. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for taking a look Alberto!
Cool thanks for sharing 👍FINS UP 👍

No, I'm sticking with it this time. My son is lifting now too.
What's the gear ratio in the rear end?

Handsome truck!!! Question Jeff, was the 350 optional for all 80's Chevy and GMC trucks or only for certain trim levels?
I'm not completely sure. I know the standard trucks came with either an inline six...then later a 4.3 V6 starting in '85. Then the 305 V8 and the 350 optional above that.
Now, that's a nice truck! I grew up with a '78 longbed. This one is much nicer!
Glad you like it. That's cool that you used to have one.
How many $
Nice video, but I wouldn't want a 305 in a pickup.
At least it's pretty easy to swap in a 350. Thanks for taking a look Steve!
That is very true. My dream would be to put in 454 LS6. That would be awesome!
Steve Holsten at least it still has the v8 sound unlike the straight 6
that truck cost about $12,000 new
And it looked like they had $10,450 on the windshield.
That’s exactly right. Full size 1/2 pickups have always done well on the used market.
Grease those hinges
Lol I'm 12 and I own one of these trucks bought it for $1000
