Im really impressed. I bought a chinese cnc from 1300€. It doesn’t have linear guide rails but the same cnc motor like you. But its struggling big time to cut aluminum. Even with expensive milling flutes, the machine vibrates heavily. Im so pissed and starting to build my own machine. Again, very impressive performance!!! Well done
there are a lot of lead in and lead out commands still being sent over when you are doing some pocketing operations, these should be replaced with a ramp operation instead, its kinder to the tooling, well done though i hope to get my own DIY machine up to aluminium cutting standards right now it was designed with PCBs in mind so it can barely manage wood lol

Well done, those ramping moves were more aggressive than I expected but the machine coped well. 👍
Nice machine, I would recommend that you use a slotdrill with 1 or 2 flutes, you will see that you get better results.
