Love your videos, I have been following you from the first couple of videos you made. And I must say I love the new shots you have from the left side of the car in the pre wash stage. But there’s one thing that I really miss in your videos and the strange thing is that you did it before and it was the most satisfying thing EVER. And that’s when you hade taken out the plastic parts from the car and steam washed them and rinse of with water, and now you no longer show when you wipe the water off with the towel. THAT I really miss, and that’s what’s holding you videos back from being epic. REALLY hope you can add this to your videos again. Thanks from Norway 🇳🇴☺️
As a person that grew up on dirt roads, I always find it interesting when people use the cloth floor mats. Why not use the all weather mats? But the cloth are far more satisfying to watch get clean :)
Me either. Everything I own has all weather mats. I had a truck for 6 years with weather tech mats in it and I put the factory carpet mats back in it when I traded it in and the interior looked brand new
Hey, Mr. Geek. Two questions. One, what is the oldest vehicle you've detailed. Two, when cleaning the inside of the doors, how do you protect the speakers from steam, spray, etc. Thanks! Love your channels!
I work for a car rental company as a detailer and I can confirm, that I dread every single Dodge Journey that gets returned! They all look like that, food, crumbs, and spills all over.
I am so happy for your success. I remember when you first started out. I was a follower when you just had under a thousand people and I got to watch you grow your business. You know you're successful when others copy you. I remember when you were the only one using a steam cleaner. Now almost every RUclipsr all have steam cleaners. That was even one guy who for some reason was taking all the little bits and putting them into a Sonic cleaner. He now uses a steam cleaner. You also already only one that really took time to clean the pedals. Now everybody follows that also. Just like your carpet extractor. Most RUclipsrs were using that $500 machine and now I see a lot of them using the same one you have. People are even now showing the dirty water that comes out of the carpet. I know I never saw one person do that until you started doing it every week. I'm still waiting for other the copy your evil twin brother. -) I'm really looking forward for your new shop to be done. Every time you have an update on it I watch it immediately. I think at first it will be a little strange watching you work in a different location. I'm just happy that I can say I remember when you were small and now I was able to watch you become successful. I know you have either the number one spot for damn close to it with the number of followers. You really knocked another one out of the ballpark. You really did a great job on this. As always I made sure to give you a big old thumbs up. Look forward to your next video on either site.
lol there’s already a detailer account who copies Mike!! I’ve been watching Mitch’s account since before 500k subs & the other detailer has been copying since around then. Mitch is the OG🫶🏼
It was Mitch who showed me mist of what I should be doing. It's not "copying" per say for me. I'm new to Detailing and needed to learn. I mostly watch technique and the details. What should I be doing kind of thing. There is a Detailer who saw Mitch and decided he needed to prove something and started taking out the carpets. My thought was LIABILITY. Even Removing the seats is a liability. But he's experienced and I'm not. I'm not copying just trying to be a Detailer and be good at it. I just started in June
Mitch, I just wanted to thank you very much for inspiring me to wash my car way better than I usually do, on this particular day. My late father was so fussy about clean vehicles and practically rubbed and scrubbed every nut and bolt. I put my cute 'lil Hyundai Accent through the Express Wash today and also vacuumed it. There was grass in the driver's foot well but I didn't want to stop there! I thought "If Mitch can do it, SO CAN I!" And I drove home with my car looking almost new. Thanks for the inspiration!
Wanted to say thank you for the videos, I find watching the putting of things in order to be therapeutic. When things seem chaotic the videos give me a sense that no matter how nasty and neglected, with a bit of strategy and "elbow grease" it can still be put in order. Good stuff.
You do such an amazing job with some tough vehicles. As for why you see so many Journeys - they became rental cars because Chrysler let them rot on the vine for so long and no one bought them except rental companies because they were so tired. Trickles downhill to once the rental car companies are done with them and they typically end up their 2nd life on a buy here pay here lot. Fun fact - Chrysler sold the Journey pretty much largely unchanged for 12 solid years from 2009 to 2020.
I love to start my weekend with one of your videos. It's always amazing how you transform those vehicles from nasty to almost brandnew. And I'm happy that you stopped having those real time sounds, it's more relaxing just with the music.
I've just found your channel this past week, and love them. Even my 5yo like them. As I was watching the other day I clicked on another car detail video not realizing it wasn't your page. After I realized I watched a few minutes and was like that's not right Mitch wouldn't clean it like that and turned it off lol. DG is the only detail channel for me, all the others do it wrong lol!
I really enjoy your videos given how satisfying it is seeing the carpets come clean and the comments you make on the quality of carpet which is often overlooked until you’re in the position of trying to vacuum it where a lot of the Honda carpets nowadays tend to capture every bit of grass that is just about impossible trying to vacuum it out. One thing you might notice on this Dodge Journey is while the front seats are full faced leather seats (reflected in the creasing shown), if you look closely at the material the back seats only have leather on the centre inserts with bolsters and middle seat facings being vinyl. it’s something to comment on your future videos given detailing give you a chance to see where a car manufacturer has cut costs.
My hubby drives a 2015 journey too and it’s WAY worse than this one was and he completely refuses to clean it so I lived vicariously through this video, so satisfying! I can hope one day he’ll clean his too
You did a number on this car ... and yes the Journeys always seam like they are owned by A soccer mom with a few kids or a big family ... that 303 made the inside pop really nice almost a brand new car now.
Nice to see that the reasonably priced steamer and extacter work great...just goes to show you don't need to spend thousands on a steamer and extractor to get decent results...good job
WOW 😲😳 Detail Geek. That is awesome 💯😎 I absolutely love it. A job well done 👍✅ to you. This vehicle looked nasty but when you got a hold of it. You brought it to life. May the good Lord always bless you and keep you safe and healthy where ever you go
The need result looked especially satisfying this time around! Especially on the inside, it looked so clean it looked like it would smell like a new car. Amazing job as always and you all stay safe, happy, healthy and of course lovely as always. 💛
Hey Mitch, I myself enjoy detailing my own car. I still have a lot to learn- I ONLY watch your videos! Have you ever tried the Invisible Glass Reach and Clean Tool to clean the interior of windshields? It comes with 3 different bonnet options and they are easily removable so you can toss them in the wash. I find it extremely useful!
What a big transformation. You always do a great job no matter how dirty the car is. At the end you know it will be something breathtaking. I love watching your videos. 😉
Awww! What an interesting, the other Bank Repo still must spy on the owners. I enjoy drinking hot tea and watching The DG is the cleaning. Have fun live chat again Friday.
People really need to stop telling Mitch how to do his job! He has been doing this for a long time and he gets steady business for a reason! Please, just enjoy the videos and the content he shares with us!!
good job as always bruh. went to vacuum our trax out the other day thinking it looked pretty bad. man, the carpet in the 18 trax sucks. but over all pretty good small suv and we keep it clean.
You are right about removing carpet. I had to have my carpet removed in my 2011 Lexus ES last year and there were damaged areas that I’m still living with.
Hey Mitch, Oh cool, another repo car. Wonder what interesting things will be found inside? Always excited to see your process and your smiling face. See ya Friday!!
When you are doing your paint sealant, are you just loading up the pad and doing the entire panel? Just curious to how you keep it even all the way across the panel.
I think if you just run over the whole panel a couple of times it naturally spreads evenly. But applying sealant a little bit unevenly will not be as noticeable as polishing unevenly or something
Now it's looking like new again Mitch your the best I like your method of cleaning the inside of the car and I like how you clean the carpets your way makes sense the journey is looking awesome Mitch have a great weekend 👍
This absolutely breaks my heart to see a Journey be like this. I have a 2017 Crossroads that I take care of and it has been very good to me and given me little trouble. I love it.
The only times I have seen detailers take carpets out is when the carpet is in such bad shape that it has to be dyed even after the most thorough cleaning. I remember an episode on another channel where they had to do that to car that was owned by someone with hoarder syndrome. The wastewater from that cleaning looked almost like used motor oil (that was GROSS).
Hey there Mr. Detail Geek - First, I want to say you are amazing! Your systematic process, with which you seem to approach every detail job, reliably turns a disaster into a show car! And I know you have to work at it, but you make it look effortless! I have learned so much that I can use when cleaning my own car, and for that I say Thank You! Now, I have a question: When you clean/wash the floor mats, you do it flat on the floor of the garage. Have you tried doing it on an angled surface so the dirty water flows off of the floor mat immediately? I admit I have no experience using your method, but I think I would want an angled surface. Love the guitar outro! Believe it or not, that cd is in my car's player right now. Thanks for another relaxing Geek session! Nice job!
Hi Detail Geek. I have been loving your videos and look forward to seeing you cleaning the cars in the new shop. Question for you, do you have an Detailing Shop you would recommend in Orlando, Florida?
Never thought I'd see my exact make and model of vehicle on here lol(though I have a 2019)! I would never let mine get this dirty but it is somewhat theraputic seeing this Journey get a second chance
At the 4:40 mark, I don’t know why, but seeing the filthy rinse of that wheel was really satisfying for me. Then the melted chocolate outline resembled the outline of the state of Texas. I know, I know, I need a life…😉 Another great video Mitch.
Too bad the Dodge Journey this time wasn’t that dirty as last!! It amazes me how people treat their cars. Thank God the storage bins in this Dodge journey weren’t as bad as last and not filled with whatever there was in there. Have a good weekend y’all!!
Excellent job, Mitch! 👍This Journey looks 'like new' inside and out, except for the damaged fender, which looks like it will be replaced in time for another fender-bender this winter 🤣
another masterful job well done from the best detailer in probably all of Canada!! but after you finish with floor mats and seats, do you leave them out on the driveway to air and sun dry?
Another nice detail job, Detail Geek. Love! The AC/DC thunder struck. I'm always playing that song in my boy AFTERBURNER. As him and I go hunting for them mustang boys. Lol.
Thanks for the videos I have this same vehicle Left the sunroof up and it rained Now I have staining on my headliner Two things I've never seen you clear Are headliners and seatbeats What is your method or technique for cleaning these
You sir are a true Master artist you do incredible and meticulous work my hats off to you I used to do detailing also about 40 years ago LOL but not to this extent like I said my hats off to you I wish you had a place here down in Florida so I can take my car to you to be detailed
I just have a question for you which you can choose to answer or not but.... how do you specifically know that its been 7 years since its last wash since it was a repo? My kids make a mess in my car while i also work i construction and my truck get like this is 2 weeks. Just thought i would asl cause most of your post consist of to much detail as if youve been around the vehicle for quite a while but just curious!
I spotted many coins among the trash in this car (and many other cars) and I think it might be a hoot if you started a 'coin jar' to watch them build up week after week. You could even use it for a promotion once or twice a year (if the jar gets full enough) for viewers to guess the total and the closest guess gets some 'swag.'
Not surprising, another clean looking vehicle by the DG. My Yukon out of the blue I noticed what I think is oxidation on the hood paint, what can I buy from you that will really remove it, it just showed up a few days ago, I thought it was dirt I missed washing it and no matter how much I wash it ,it's not going away ,I looked up dirt that won't go away and it says that's called oxidation so I think what my yukons hood has on it I don't know how it happened because I always wash my Yukon like two or three times a week anyhow if you can recommend anything I'll buy whatever you tell me will work long as it really will work I don't want that to get worse.
Detail question.... I park my truck outside under a sweet gum tree unfortunately. What is your best method/chemical for removing the small brown spots the tree sap leaves?
Did you guys spot the shark? 👀
Hope you enjoyed this one! Have a great weekend and remember #MikeForMayor!
What was a side panel doing in the car?😄😄😄
You do find some Silly things in peoples vehicles 🚗, don’t you?!
Ja jak w pracy myje i czyszcze auta to zawsze zazynam od środka. ( When I wash and clean my car at work, I always start from the inside.)

Impressive work
As a person that grew up on dirt roads, I always find it interesting when people use the cloth floor mats. Why not use the all weather mats? But the cloth are far more satisfying to watch get clean :)
Or even just turn the carpeted mats over so the rubber catches the mud and not the carpet.
Me either. Everything I own has all weather mats. I had a truck for 6 years with weather tech mats in it and I put the factory carpet mats back in it when I traded it in and the interior looked brand new
Carpet is for people who live where there are roads and click their heels before getting in.
Same. I use rubber floor mats in my truck.
I have a horse...first thing I did when I got my last car was get rubber floor & cargo mats!
Hey, Mr. Geek. Two questions. One, what is the oldest vehicle you've detailed. Two, when cleaning the inside of the doors, how do you protect the speakers from steam, spray, etc. Thanks! Love your channels!
The "No bodily fluids " cracked me up.....nice riff as always
I work for a car rental company as a detailer and I can confirm, that I dread every single Dodge Journey that gets returned! They all look like that, food, crumbs, and spills all over.
my dad owns a 2010 Dodge Journey and has kept in good shape and condition for 12 years and it still looks brand new till this day

For some of you that are wondering; The red fender that got pulled out looks like it is to replace the damaged front drivers side fender.
It's very satisfying to watch your videos and how you clean the vehicles.

That journey was a mess… love the finished work! Have a great weekend!
What a big transformation. You always do a great job no matter how dirty the car is. At the end you know it will be something breathtaking. I love watching your videos. 😉

Good work playing that guitar Mitch! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
It's gonna be quite the transformation. Looking forward to another live chat.
Amazing work Mitch
Mitch, I haven't seen you clean headlights. What's the best way to remove oxidation from headlights?
I wand know that too... I know many use toothpaste, but i dont wand use that kind tecnique
@@KanriXD buy some polishing compound and polish it by hand. For better results wet sand, polish, then spray a clear coat
Just the vacuum itself makes such a huge difference. 🤩
Hey Mitch, Oh cool, another repo car. Wonder what interesting things will be found inside? Always excited to see your process and your smiling face. See ya Friday!!
Jumping Jehosephat, that jolly rancher just frigged off when you busted out the steamer. As always, tremendous work and thanks for the video!
I work at a car auction as a detailer, and Journey's are the WORST cars to clean. You're exactly right, every one I have done has been horrible.
I swear I’ve seen all ur videos Just to relax and fall asleep
When you are doing your paint sealant, are you just loading up the pad and doing the entire panel? Just curious to how you keep it even all the way across the panel.

Loved this week's question and answer!
The best of this video was the end, Thunderstruck, great video, best regards from México.
How do you detail clean the seatbelts strap?? Can we get a sneek peek into that too. Much appreciation!
Usually with an APC and cloth. For heavier stains, a combo of APC and a steamer does the trick.
Much needed satisfaction after a whole week👍 keep it up
Stauffer removes often the carpet. I assume therefore people ask.
Your thoughts?
I've always been curious about this as well. Seems like it would be cleaner to use a few old grit guards (the plastic grate-like inserts for wash buckets) to elevate the mats on the final rinse.
I just detailed this car todat, same color and everything, it was my first detail job
The 'secret' compartment looked like the previous owner had no idea it was there. I drove a Celica for a year & a half before I found its secret compartment. lol Snickers Milk Shake Shark? Love the guitar outro! Believe it or not, that cd is in my car's player right now. Thanks for another relaxing Geek session! Nice job!
Hi Detail Geek. I have been loving your videos and look forward to seeing you cleaning the cars in the new shop. Question for you, do you have an Detailing Shop you would recommend in Orlando, Florida?

I always enjoy your content. How could anyone not? The results are stupendous. Enjoy your weekend!✌🏽
Looks brand new amazing jobs as always
Never thought I'd see my exact make and model of vehicle on here lol(though I have a 2019)! I would never let mine get this dirty but it is somewhat theraputic seeing this Journey get a second chance
Wonderful job what a difference. Thank you. God bless.
At the 4:40 mark, I don’t know why, but seeing the filthy rinse of that wheel was really satisfying for me. Then the melted chocolate outline resembled the outline of the state of Texas. I know, I know, I need a life…😉 Another great video Mitch.

What kind of hose end sprayer is that you use to rinse parts off? It looks like it has a nice spray pattern for watering plants
August 26th is a Friday, it's also my 22nd birthday, I hope I get to watch a satisfying video 😁 keep it up mitch
FINALLY! The magician is back in business! can’t wait for the transformation!

I might be wrong, but I’ve never seen a video where you clean the headliner
Thanks for the videos
I have this same vehicle
Left the sunroof up and it rained
Now I have staining on my headliner
Two things I've never seen you clear
Are headliners and seatbeats
What is your method or technique for cleaning these
Do u have like a detail kit thay includes everything or just have to buy lots of products separately?
I don’t need sleep I need to see this transformation.
That was awesome! I can't wait to see you in your new garage!
Amazing job as always Mitch fabulous work 100% love from Ireland 👏😎🇮🇪
Just bought your brush set earlier today ! Can’t wait to use them 😁😁
Would love a video of faq and just answering questions abt starting up detailing cars and everything in between 🙏🏼

My dude, all you had to say was that the cars you get don’t have carpets dirty enough to warrant pulling them out
Thats not true. Ripping them out destroys the car itself.
We rip them out when building rock crawlers. Stuff gets pretty destroyed in the process.
Very very good detail

Hello Mitch and greetings from Flagstaff, Arizona United States 🇺🇸.
I vape and usually have and oily film on my windows. What can I use to stop them from smearing when I clean them?
Can't wait for this clean up
A man that cleans and is good looking. Ummmm 2 thumbs up 👍👍
Great job geek it great watching you tear the dirt away lol
Hi from The Netherlands! 👍
That was a lot of dirt!!! I'm so sad I missed the live chat, hopefully I'll be able to make it next time!! Amazing job Mitch! 🙂
Detail question.... I park my truck outside under a sweet gum tree unfortunately. What is your best method/chemical for removing the small brown spots the tree sap leaves?
