I have it. It’s pretty incredible. Despite being so small, it really is a full-frame lens, and it packs a whole 1.6x squeeze. On 16x9 video, this means that you have extra wide footage that you’ll crop or use for panning.
It’s not extremely sharp, but it’s great for scenery, stopped down.
I hope they release more Saturn lenses soon. Be nice to have something like a 60+ to cover both ends!

Nice, I just made my own amoimorphic lens effect with wire and some other tricks. It's nice but your right it's time consuming editing wise
currently use nanomnorph pl, amazing, feel free. also my shoulder before was ok but now suffer issues with joint and muscle from iscorama 2x set

A part pour les flares et paysage , j'ai toujours trouver le scope frustrant , en faite ont perd en hauteur ce qu'ont gagne a largeur , en dehors d'une vrai projection en salle de cine avec le ratio 2.35 . Ça limite aussi l'usage des gros plan .

@@MathieuStern If you follow the link, then a cookie file will be downloaded and cached by your web browser that silently tracks subsequent visits to other internet websites, allowing all of them to identify all the content you have been viewing, which is not a good thing.

amazing !..wow... so nice your clips.... here one for you: try an iphone 1,55x anamorphic adapter but on a sony 6500 with a 35mm lens must be pancake... that is even twice more portable than this one here...

Honestly, you could have plugged “why not just crop wide angle footage instead of using anamorphic” into google and you would have gotten forum hits where people discuss and argue this exact question at length. It’s also kind of a strikingly obvious answer that legitimately shouldn’t even require an explanation. I’m just trying to help you become more skilled at asking questions that matter and using the world wide resource that is the internet - otherwise expect humans like me to chime in when someone asks something that is kind of an obvious thing given the subject matter and the fact you are even commenting on the video at all. Why are you watching anything about anamorphic if you don’t know why its even used..?

lol, that's not heavy. Try lugging a Sigma 150-600 Sport round with you all day and trying to track birds in flight. 3kg on the end of your camera. You need a rucksack full of rocks to counter-balance you.
