I also think we as people need to be aware of each other as we occupy space in society. We are stuck in a battle of trying to one up another and not uniting. Are fights may be slightly different but we still in the same space.

This conversation was enjoyable to listen to but it’s the same format that all of these conversations are based on.
All the women in the room are unmarried and/or divorced and some have children. With all due respect, none of them are qualified to speak on what makes a good relationship. Even the “MatchMaker” is unmarried.
You need to get women of the same age as these women who are married and have been married, in one marriage for 15 years or more and watch how drastically the conversation changes. These are the women that are successful in relationships and can therefore speak to said success.

Totally, they just said most women want a man that earns more than them lol. It's more than likely the highest earning women are single, waiting on that 0.001% man that earns more 7 figures. Also isn't there a "wage gap" that many women bring up all the time, guess it magically disappears depending on the narrative.

I think this whole is boils down to people waiting to long to date people seriously. I met my wife when I was 20 and riding the bus. We both contributed to the household when we moved in together. When I was in grad school and had internships and practicums she chipped in more because I had to work less to focus on education and we had 2 kids at the time. I'm now 33 we are about to have our 3rd child, we have a big house and my wife hasn't paid a bill in 2 years and is about to be become a stay at home mom. People gotta be willing to invest in each for the benefit of both parties because in the end a marriage is about team work and complementing each other's weaknesses with the other persons strengths.

Especially when they're young, durable and ready to make bad decisions. Then after the negative consequences and babies, they want the safe, boring 9 to 5 guy.

      @@R0yALtyS
Let me try to answer that.
Sure ,we care about our emotions. They are just not as volatile as women's.
Imagine emotions as a number. 1 is despondent. 10 is exhilarated. 5 is neutral.
Men usually go through their week 4,5,6. Sometimes we hit 3s and 7s.
Women usually go 3,4,5,6,7 and sometimes hit 8s and 2s.
So, when men hit 8, 9 (like being in love), we are surprised.
Likewise, when we are overwhelmed when we hit a 3,2 (like death of a parent, or divorce). Therapy does work wonders.
However, men have been conditioned from a young age to "toughen up" or "man up". Which is actually a good thing because women, as much as they claim that they desire a sensitive man, are repulsed by a crying (ergo weak) man....he can't be a good protector!
Do men express how we feel? Not as a rule.
But we do, if the problem is serious enough.
If a man confides a problem to another man, it is serious business.
Men are fixers. We are asking help from a friend to help us fix a problem. Do it is somewhat of an honor too.
Btw, that's why men offer solutions when you want to talk about a problem. YOU NEED to tell him beforehand that you just want him to listen, not to try to fix it. So he can mentally put another hat on.
Men are also better discussing problems when their mind is focused on something else. Like the sex he just had with you. Yes, men open up better after sex.
When talking with his friend, they might be focused on drinking, fishing, or tiling the floor.
I've gone to therapy after my divorce (married 30 years), which was very beneficial. But I was also at that 1,2 mark on the emotion scale.
      Hope that helps.

In 2023, after the PPP folks fell off, those numbers went to 63% for black men, 22% of business are owned by women and 15% coed.
There’s been multiple times, the women in this interview, have made numerous false claims, without backing it up. Your perspective isn’t everyone’s reality, nor it equates to the statistics.

Women are naturally feminine but in harsh environments (not "environments" like the climate and trees lol) women will become masculine. Such is the story for a lot of BW. The femininity of a woman is nurtured and watered by the presence of masculinity. A presence that often isn't a part of black homes or black communities. Thus, BW must go it alone unless they expand their options. The reason why men are supposed to be masculine is because men weren't created in response to women. Your masculinity doesn't depend on your reliance on women. It relies on your obedience to God and your ability to fulfill the duties he's set before you. Femininity is measured by our response to the men who are to fulfill those duties (our receptiveness, kindness, peacefulness, ability to submit, prudence, etc..).
Now, I do believe that BW who struggle with returning to their feminine nature need to fix that. They should depend on God to lead them fully, go to therapy, surround themselves with safer people, date for character even if it's outside of the race, etc.. I understand why the masculinity issue is occurring but we must fix it if we want to have a life filled with love and oneness with someone.

@@gabbygiovanna9011 I hear what you’re saying but there’s one major flaw in everything you’re relaying. I can understand situations and lifestyle of childhood to adulthood can be a factor in how you see and move within the world. That’s fair. However, when you’re talking about the black community, a large portion of us are predominantly raised with a mother, grandmother, auntie, and so forth. So you mean to tell me that all of the black women today have the greatest advantage to be fully surrounded by and raised by women from birth to adulthood (to include, aunts, sisters, cousins, teachers, mothers friends, her friends, her friends mother, etc.) and with all of these representations of womanhood still can’t figure out how to be feminine? From not one woman? While black men in most cases have to find a male role model while growing up and learning how to be a proper man in the world but we have to look for it in sports coaches, TV and media, jail, gangs, or maybe a stepdad and that’s if the growing boy even respects him as a man in general. No. That’s are excuses to be trash.
Also, if you are a women, no one should have to teach you how to be feminine. How to conduct yourself as a lady and wife, for sure. But if you are a woman you instinctively supposed to be feminine. As a man, no man taught me to be masculine. I already was born and instinctively have masculine traits and do masculine things. I was taught how to conduct myself and structure my life as a man. As a woman, elder women teach you how to conduct yourself as a woman, how to utilize your feminine nature in a certain manner. That’s all.
So c’mon, since the dawn of humanity men have been men and women have been women. Masculine and feminine. How we present and conduct ourselves in society has changed over the years but everything has always been the same because there are certain things you are just born with. No excuses about any level of trauma will negate a woman’s femininity. Hasn’t for thousands of years throughout the most treacherous and abysmal times in human history that no one alive today can fathom. On top of that, even with all the trauma and stuggles we may have faced in the last 30-50 years in America doesn’t even compare to what some other people face on a daily basis today.
So, in closing, just as an example. You mean to tell me there’s a woman who escaped the hellish and incredibly impoverished Nation of North Korea can come to America and sit on the Joe Rogan Podcast and have flashbacks about how crippling her life was in her home country and still sit there as feminine, soft, and lovely as ever while exhibiting crushing symptoms of PTSD but a black woman can’t be feminine because of daddy issues and growing up food stamps but still growing up with fresh Jordans or her feet because life was a little tough? And then walk around berating black men about how they need to boss up because even $100,000 a year ain’t enough to live off of? (And the list goes on)
Naw. Not buying it. Lol. A lot black women just stubborn and don’t want to be feminine and since no one will hold them accountable, they relish in the delusion. Every other woman on the planet “got it figured out” no matter their situation but black womens plight is so bad they can’t get it? Naw. Black women just stubborn or delusional. Maybe be both, who knows.
Now, all I’m doing is just calling a spade a spade. If we can’t do that then the community as a whole will always fail and that’s all that’s to it.
Just a little food for thought. The Palestinian people are getting bombed and killed everyday as we speak. Losing their homes, family, starving, and just trying to be alive for at least the next five minutes. You think the Palestinian women had to be forced to be feminine during their time of distress or are they just being women in peril?
I don’t know. I’m pretty sure it never took bombs and bullets for them to be a woman.

@@Surge1808 Because femininity relies so heavily on the presence of masculinity, yes, it's hard for some BW to return to their most natural selves when they have to be the ones protecting and providing. BW absolutely need to return to their feminine nature regardless of the presence of BM or not. But, that means that we must learn and appreciate the utility of men which may mean not always selecting BM.
You think trauma doesn't affect a woman's femininity which isn't true. Trauma caused in direct relation to a man's actions can affect one's femininity especially if the issue is ongoing. The whole nature of femininity is trusting, giving, submitting, being soft, peaceful, etc.. Would you say that those traits are conducive to the harsh realities of the world? No. The world is a harsh place. So, who is supposed to make sure those traits can survive in the world? Men. If those men are hurting you, not protecting you, and abandoning you, then you have 2 options: pick another group of men or adapt to the world. I think my sisters made the wrong decision in adapting to the world. We should've appealed to other groups of men. BW didn't always have the nature BM describe today. We were warm, sweet, hospitable, soft spoken, witty, etc..Men of all races love those traits. But we instead opted to become hard, callous, independent, which wasn't the best choice.
BW are exhausted and begging for protection. Why do you think we don't want to be feminine? Maybe, we don't trust that BM are capable of providing that space for us which is a different story.
Women can withstand a lot with their men. What is happening in Palestine is tragic but Palestinian women aren't being bombed by Palestinian men. So I'm not sure why you brought that up as if Palestinian woman have a reason to mistrust or be masculine with their men.
