A lot of people looked down on RM and Suga for “betraying hip hop” because they went from rapping underground to being in a KPOP idol group. RM and Suga were doing an interview with a rapper named B-Free and he said that RM and Suga weren’t real rappers because they’re in an idol group and they wear makeup on stage. He said that wearing makeup makes them girls, not rappers. So to prove all the haters wrong, RM, Suga, and J-Hope created the Cypher series to show that, just because they’re in a KPOP idol group, doesn’t mean they can’t rap.

Supreme Boi used to be a member of BTS back when they we're still training. Basically, he dropped out of BTS to be a producer but stayed in BigHit and he actually participates in the production of a lot of BTS songs(btw, Suga was also going to drop out of BTS to become a music producer before they promised him that BTS would be a k-hip-hop group!). Anyways, he's really good friends with BTS and he was the one talking in the beginning of Cypher pt 2(correct me if I am wrong) and I believe he produced the beat for Cypher pt 2 also.

Supreme Boi and RM have known each other since at least middle school, and he has been working with BigHit almost as long as RM has. He's helped produce many of BTS's most popular songs, and even worked on JHope's mixtape and RM's recent playlist "Mono," which both dropped in 2018. He's also listed second as a writer for "Idol" which means he played a pretty big part in writing it. So they still work with him regularly. He may have worked on music or projects with other artists that have questionable lyrics, and he may have said some questionable things himself, which I don't condone, but unless you know him personally it's impossible to know what his real thoughts and motivations are. And unless the members of BTS make an official comment on what they think of him, it's impossible to know if they are still friends with him. He is a talented musician, and still a young man with a lot to learn (I'm sure I said and did some questionable/stupid things at 24!!), so my hope is that the members of BTS and the other producers at BigHit are a good influence on him.

Being confused about the meaning doesn't make someone homophobic. They were just genuinely surprised. My goodness. Okay, I don't think these guys are homophobic. First of, as a viewer, I've seen and heard them say such words that we might or might not get. Maybe some of their words are not really directing to the person but the verse itself. Second, ous didn't say smthn and it was lou who said "that ain't it chief" so it wasn't 'they' but just 'him'. Third, i do think Lou was just confused as to what ous was trying to say (ever experienced saying some random words whenever you didn't get the joke or message?). It's obvious Lou didn't get the msg that's why he randomly said/uttered "that ain't it, chief" without knowing. But then they laughed it off as soon as he got it cuz the verse was really nasty yall and it's a savage compliment not the literal meaning. Lastly, they didn't put any bad impressions on suga abt his sexuality right?. They were just after the verse (but of course suga's delivery). But hey, let's not think negatively based on reaction (we have different ways of expressing). Also, of course, just bcuz I said this doesn't mean that im right.. Or wrong. Btw I think if you do some deep digging in the archives of pre-debut BTS you can even find a video of Suga, RM, Supreme Boi and one other former rapper in BTS rapping together 😂
If u guys want a harsher rm then watch rm- joke. The original music vid doesn't have eng lyrics. Yet if u want u can watch a lyric vid. Rm talks about fake rappers and haters. He mocks them in many ways. Brings about mumbling rappers, wordplay, speed and flow switch ups. It's dark yet intense. Rn is the type to wrote his verses in a few and quickly. He really did channel his emotions in music, still does yet now he isn't angry at the world as he was before. Rm grew alot even when ppl shamed him for his appearance, his style, rapping, his choice to be an idol while others saw it as him (and suga) betraying hip-hop. It really affects rm and they told him he should leave BTS, to his face I think before and he just takes it in. I think he had mentioned before how much he hated the word love but now he doesn't and now he even has a song named trivia: love. If u want a chill rm I suggest " Seoul" or "trivia:love"
And for jhope, I suggest u listen to "hope world" so u can get a taste of his style.
