A hero among us. Are u wearing a Cape sir?!! Thanks again, :)
You're a good fella
Thanks so much for this man
Gracias viejo
The talking guitar bit in Ultima Hypocrita is exquisite
GOOSEBUMPS THROUGH THIS ENTIRE RELEASE!!! 🏔️🔥 10/10 Masterpiece!!!
@You are a sheep thats not fair. mental cruelty going black. vulvodynia are going tech
@You are a sheep i guess vulvodynia are killing it too with their next record. but imo mental crueltys blackened deathcore is more "emotional" than vulvos tech death slamcore
I give it at least 15/10🤘🤘🤘🤘
Yes this is my AOTY right now. But do looking forward to the Vulvodynia album!
Challenge accepted @Vulvodynia Official?
Never cared for this band for a WHILE now, until this album shows up on my feed and I'm just like "Hm, album #3, these guys must be alright, lemme check them out!"
I'm addicted now...
Never heard of this band, it just shows up on my RUclips... an just like that... I'm instantly addicted...🤘🤘
Thanks algorithm 😁
You should see them live when you get the chance they are pretty damn tight
Check out their older stuff, 2 previous albums are different in style, but worthy listening
@@monkaHeliWatchesWidePeepoHappy actually all their albums are dope AF
Highly recommend you check out their album "Purgatorium." The entire album is incredible, but check out "Father of Abomination" feature Duncan Bentley of Vulvodynia. Song is pure insanity
This popped up as a suggestion when I was listening to "Lorna Shore - Of The Abyss" (which I highly recommend), & I'm glad it did. Much like!
Breakdowns: 2:35, 3:33, 8:10, 9:40, 12:24, 17:03, 19:02, 20:05, 21:41, 23:47, 28:37, 39:08
this is the best comment i've ever seen on a metal youtube video
@@Fire-Toolz thanks)
The hero we didn't know we needed.
Hail to Digital Era!🔥🔥🔥
If you listen to this, you can hear epicness.
🤘🤘
Flowing into the clouds
Obviously you've never listened to Abigail Williams.
@@zachtroxell8332 what makes you think that?
This comment is like a time machine to 2006
I don't listen to deathcore, but I am very impressed with the amalgam of death, black, and symphonic metal that Mental Cruelty was able to successfully incorporate on this album.
I'm pretty much the same way... Been on a huge atmospheric black metal kick and then these guys somehow make it into my recommendations.... Checked out their older work and it's nothing like this at all.
Same broo! This is the modern band's that I enjoy to listen because I have experience hearing Deathcore since 2010 and most of their sounds is very shit and not impressive, this one is so good.
@@TerminalM193 try to check Lorna Shore's last album and last EP - another one perfect mix of deathcore with atmospheric and black metals
@@ManFromHumanity The most worth it one is Ultimate Hatred by Sin deliverance IMO, never heard something that is so f good
I think the same. They made "Deathcore" interesting for me again
This is the Deathcore that I like not repetitive bullshit, this is great 💀
Yeah bands like that make us so picky isnt it xD
1. Avgång (Departure)
2. Ultima Hypocrita 1:01
3. Abadon 5:32
4. King Ov Fire 11:27
5. Eternal Eclipse 15:16
6. Death Worship 19:45
7. Fossenbrate 24:22
8. A Hill To Die Upon 26:12
9. Extermination Campaign 31:17
10. The Left Hand Path 35:38
While I'm at work I enjoy picking random band names I've never heard before. Out of every 10 names, I may find one I like... this album I love!
Completely took me by surprise. I really can't describe what exactly it is that hooked me. There is just this energy on this album not many bands can achieve. It's almost like hearing a funeral burst into flames...
A landmark release that set them up for high hopes next album around
The same here broski. Def a step up from the last album which I didn't really care for. But this..mmmm those vocals are on par with the best of em. I'm a vocalist and I can't perform alot of what's on this album.
@@dlrsnate5100 Our hope wasn't in vain either, Zwielicht is a masterpiece.
normally i don't listen to this kind of music, but when i do, i die upon a hill with my head full of mental cruelty.
Beautiful my guy.
Repeat after me...
*ALBUM OF THE YEAR!*
This is unreal! This is another great example of RUclips recommend awesomeness. Can't stand RUclips as a company, but their AI is really good. This whole album is epic! I'm so impressed and full of great emotions from these songs.. very well done. Instant fan 🙏😍
This is massive. Easily the best thing they've put out so far, it feels like they finally found their sound. Good job lads.
Death worship should have straight up been a single. Mvp of the album.
Agreed. Why aren't reactors checking out that track?? It should be viral among the Metal community. I guess it's because of no music video.
I love it too, but the EP and first album is by far the best they have put out. I'm glad they transitioned well, but I miss the actual disgusting brutality of their early stuff
The combo of Eternal Eclipse and Death Worship absolutely destroyed me on my first listen. The whole album is badass, but I was not ready for those songs. So good 🤘😈
And here I was, thinking that Lorna Shore, is the apex of BDC. Congratulations Mental Cruelty, on a most masterful, work of art. May we be blessed with more breautality in the future!!!
These guys bring a whole new meaning to BDC a bit of slam in there too
As good as this is it can't touch LS sorry.
@Jacob Smith cry about it
@Jacob Smith what? How am I racist lol
Have you heard their new song To The Hellfire?? It’s fucking NUTS
this is genuinely one of the best metal albums i've heard in a while
Wow, the addition of a blackened and symphonic sound to this genre really hits the spot. Unexpected. Definitely picking this up.
Exactly what I was thinking!
yeah i bought the CD thinking it was some kind of bm album. Partially what i got. What a great mix
Yup, for some reason deathcore opens up completely when adding blackened and symphonic aspects to it.
I love everything about that release just amazing have to see them live 😍
Unexpected? It’s been the norm for many years now.
Who else has been hanging for this album’s release?
I’ve been puppy dog guarding my door for merch and hardcopy. To see it just now got sent in transit...
Moi yo!😎
I'm definitely getting a fuckin physical copy of this
@@calmcoolclark5124 Nice one! Free streams are cool but sick bands like this need our support. On ya mate!
@@Virvum_Juggernaut hell these bands are so amazing with thier new releases it almost feels like hard copies are investments hahaha if I’d ever actually part with them is another topic
DIMMU BORGIR CALLED, THEY WANT THEIR THRONE BACK. 🔥 STUFF GUYS
This sounds nothing like Dimmu Borgir. This just sounds like a slightly more black metal version of all this newer infant annihilator/black tongue rip off shit. Not impressed.
@@GreenToFeelBlue go whine somewhere else lol. This shit is good af
I want from Mental Cruelty a live show when they play with a symphonic orchestra like Dimmu Borgir did - it would be huge!:D
@@GreenToFeelBlue first, infant annihilator and black tongue sound nothing alike, second. This doesn't sound anything like either of them. You're extremely out of touch lmao.
🤘
Holy shit blackened deathcore is the next big thing without a doubt
@Jacob Smith Yeah, that's how art develops. I am all for it. I don't like black metal, but it is amazing in every genre it fuzes with.
@Jacob Smith then why are you here man? I don't understand people like you. Is this not art? Trend is an arbitrary word. It literally means a general direction in which something is changing. That's what art does. This is the best "trend" deathcore has ever had, it's been a dying genre for awhile that was very formulaic. Bands like this and Lorna Shore made it interesting again, and my personal favorite Humanity's Last Breath. Deathcore is on a new trend, and that is a good thing.
@Jacob Smith Can you not read? I'm saying they exist in some sort of overlap, where it isn't exactly deathcore but they do have breakdowns. So they are incorporating -core elements. Must be hard being this stupid. You completely ignored me on what trends even are, must be too academic a topic for you...
Finally some Blackened Deathcore that absolutely destroys with epicness! 🤘👿🤘
SUPER HEAVY POWERDEATH!!!
5 favourite blackened deathcore groups:
5. Lorna Shore
4. Carnifex
3. Shrine of malice
2. Worm Shepherd (Future of Deathcore scene)
1. Mental Cruelty (Future of Deathcore scene)
Nice list. Shadow Of Intent? They've really worked their way up on my list!
RIP Shrine of Malice.
lately carnifex make boring music=(
why not black Tongue? theyre easy on the top
@@natomic4374 Black Tongue is downtempo, not blackened
this could be the best 2021 release so far.
There’s only a handful of deathcore bands I’ve consistently continued following over the past few years. These guys just got added to that list. Plus they really used those blackened elements effectively, I’m always a sucker for that.
*BRUTAL!!!*
Blessed to be alive to hear music like this 10/10 I knew it would be a master piece when those 3 singles came out
Ultima Hypocrita; best song in years in all catagories! Epic!!
4 letters can describe this masterpiece - AOTY
EPIC is one, sick is another!!!

RUN BOB !!!!!!!!!!!
Can't wait to make this my new mowing soundtrack!🤘🚜
@You are a sheep update: normally takes an hour to mow, and trim. With this playing, it took only 40 minutes 😉
Get a reel mower for extra gains
Mower was too weak. I ate my yard.
can we get something stronger than a like button for this masterpiece??
Something like "Hail Satan" button or "I love you" 🤟
Every single.. every single damn song is a banger A FUCKING BANGER
As a lover of black metal, old school and new, I have to say..love hearing it in combo with deathcore. It's like..unheard of and something new. I'll be one of the black metal fans to absolutely adore the brutality and innovation in the art created here.. nice stuff!
Blackened Deathcore has been around for quite a while, I know it's not exactly a known band but One More Victims only album is over 20 years old now. It's changed dramatically since then, of course. Within Destruction and Shrine of Malice are a couple other good bands I know.
Same here! And how they have woven it in here with brutal death metal is just so masterfully executed that I can't stop fuckin' listening 😄
Wow underrated a bit
A buddy just sent this to me because we were talking about ...And i return to nothingness
Im instantly hooked. The guitar solo in Ultima Hypocrita is one of the best solos iv heard. Amazing.
Dude I second that……..that solo is mesmerising 🤟🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻
So awesome to hear something different in deathcore. Tons of symphonic/black influence in here as well as some great soloing that isnt just a sweepfest of nonsense.
My bundle arrives tomorrow and I'm gonna wear my shirt everyday for the rest of year and wear the flag as a cape.
One of the sickest things ive heard mannnnn shiett
This is fucking brutal. My best recent discovery and the best thing I click on a pitiful drunk Sunday. Deathcore is life \m/
12:14 ... god damn it!!
The solo in Ultima Hypocrita is fucking insane.
Good Lord this is top tier Deathcore
Fossenbrate is just on an entirely new level on this album. It’s so good. This whole album is amazing.
The hairs on my arms standing straight up!
i like how the singer switches from screams to grunts and back. very solid, very stable. good control over his voice. i enjoy this.
the masterpiece of the sick.🔥🔥
Album of the year
best album of the year 2020. hello from the past to those in the future
Its real good and one of the best extreme metal albums of 2021!
What a banger!
Okokok life is redeemed momentarily
Best 2021 album
Yes yes
Saaathanaaas.....Geil. :D
Love the progression this band has made. I feel like this is the BDM version of Anthems To The Welkin At Dusk and it is perfect.
OMG. What a masterpiece. I think one of the best metal ablums of all tme. No. Correction: one of the best albums ever! You guys are brilliant!
This album just became my AOTY for 2021.
This is on a whole new level!
Finally I've been waiting for soo long, this is definitely one of the best albums of the year 🔥🔥
The outro breakdown to Death Worship...😱...23:20.
Fucking ridiculous!!!
Absolutely catastrophic!!!
What a Steve Vaiesque solo in the first song!
Album cd delivery this morning, hi from belgium.
dude its just perfect. cannot be better. change my mind.
Came for the breee, got way more than blegh!
Gorgeous and quite diverse. Breees included!
Amazing athmosphere in this masterpiece! I love blackened influences and vibes in deathcorish music or any heavier music!
THE GUITAR SOLOS 😩

I bet Bob Ross coulda made some sick af album covers.
Das ist die deutsche Antwort auf Lorna Shores "Immortal".... Großartige Arbeit Jungs.... Ein Meisterstück!!!
I saw this band live around the release of their third album with a bunch of other great bands, and while I liked what I heard a lot, it didn't blow me away or present very much new. This is a completely different beast and I'm really happy they've expanded on their sound. If they can equal or top their next release, then they're probably one of the best deathcore bands to ever exist.
Perfect take, their last albums were good, but nothing was all that special, while this is some of the best deathcore I've heard in a while. They have the blackened sound nailed 🙌
That bell on the ride cymbal though
This just broke my jaw! AOTY for sure, god-tier BDC! Pinnacle of their sound, chills the whole way
Blackened deathcore is on the rise 🔥🔥🔥
This album helped me get through alot of rough days and hard work. Thanks for the great music awesome band.
Me too.
Vielen Dank Dudes....you just released perhaps the best pandemic soundtrack possible ever.... Jah Vohl!!!!!
fantastic.
Boah, "Eternal Eclipse" ist ja mal ne geile Mischung aus Gekloppe und Symphonie...gefolgt von noch viel härterem Geballer. Krank gut, Jungs :D
Greetings from Nepal. 🖤
This is crazy good.
35minutes into this album and I started CREAMING my pants /,,/.
Abadon was hard AF!!! Who agree
Yes always happy to see a new video from ULR !!
I dont usually listen to this kind of music but deam ! The symphonic bits and everything is so 👍❤❤❤
Not many albums in any genre that I listen to over and over. This is one of the rare few.
THIS FUCKING SLAPS SO GOD DAMN HARD
Beautiful combo. Black metal and deathcore 👍🏻
Kickass album! Proceed!
I'm glad RUclips actually recommended this ... Excellent release
actual masterpiece
This rocks 🤘
whoever your art director is deserves a TON of credit!!! I can't stop clicking your videos just to check out the art!
Mental Cruelty is really impressive!!!!
These guys never disappoint. Also, I love the album cover art, it’s beautiful!
Hand painted on wood for the album cover art.
Not a big fan of deathcore in general but this fucking blowed my mind! I have to listen more blackened deathcore!!!
@Logan Stueck Shadow Of Intent too. Although leaning more towards the symphonic side of black metal, still really great deathcore/blackened deathcore.
@Logan Stueck Humanitys last Breath isn't really black metal influenced but it's in a similar vein where it's deathcore but not really lol
My feelings exactly
Why? sounds like 99.9% of all other dc albums.
@@BOTG_Adventures I'm not into deathcore, and listening to a deathcore band with BM riffs and such a cuality blew my mind, nothing special man, never thought I would like a deathcore album that much.
What a Masterpiece, listen to those guitar runs!!!
Just here to drop my like and view. Now back to streaming it on Spotify. 🖤
That's it, my entire existence has been liquidated by the prince of darkness! Hell of a fucking album!
