David Paulides covered a similar story in one of his Missing 411 books. The ski tracks stopped after what appeared to be a long downhill straight line to the edge of a cliff. The skier was never found. The people who were with him were right behind him when he suggested he go a little further down the mountain and take a picture of his friends as they skied past. They searched the ravine below the cliff and all around the area. There was no disruption in the snow just the ski tracks at the edge of the cliff. Not a single trace below. He was never found.
