To avoid spoiling C, during their showcase section I covered up a portion of the upper left-hand portion of the screen, their character portrait in the lower right-hand portion of the screen, and I purposely left them unlinked in battle. This is because while I am able to put C's mask back on, their portrait, cut-ins for follow-up attacks, and portrait in turn-order remain unmasked after their reveal in-game. Hope you understand!
I think its worth mentioning that duvali's crafts have unusually low delay, and not just because of her speed stat. Its kinda like richard in 3rd. The damage ratings on them seem low, but because their delay is so low, their actual dps is quite high (well technically not per second , but you get the point), provided you can fuel her cp.
I didn't mention it because discussing base craft/action delay would be something for more of an in-depth guide on the character. Speaking on that note though, Bladelord Specter has a base delay value of 1400 vs. Swift Slash -- her fastest -- which has a base delay value of 1200, so outside of really long fights the difference is negligible with 1-2 quartz slots dedicated to speed. The gap closes even more the later into the game you get as well.
@@hack5770 just set him up as a physical attacker with CP regen quartz and accessories. Even though Swin won’t be the best, he’ll at least do something
@@natsurashizero I just put critical master quarts on him fill up his slots with critical like strike etc and speed that seem to be OK for the moment lol
Great video ! Just out of curiosity, is all of the footage of all 3 character showcase videos taking place in the Reverie Corridor ? Because if it is, that's a pretty nice enviroment variety
He's good but not broken. There are 3 characters I would consider truly broken: Lloyd, Kurt, and Rixia. Rixia can have 100% crit and be invincible due to perma-stealth while hitting harder than almost every other character; and ahe one of the best Brave Orders. With Lloyd and Kurt, well, they can take infinite turns all by themselves (video on that coming tomorrow hopefully).
@@RozalinGaming kurt can take infinite turns ? interesting , with lloyd i alr saw the infinite loop by another person back then , and have juna there to temporarily support , but the whole team definitely had at least a cp generating accessory like gladiator belt or something cos he was able to upkeep a bit , also emma 50cp from her healing skill is indispensable , alisa too . But im shock that kurt can have one too . I can definitely see people using rixia in this game due to the link system , shes a bp generator for a game so hungry for bp due to brave order , in cs 2, the need for bp wasnt as crucial and gamebreaking as all it does was give u additional damage with semblence of cp .
@@WindrunnerEX Both Lloyd and Kurt can take infinite turns all by themselves; no outside help necessary. There is also a way to do it that I will showcase as well that only uses 2 characters to take infinite turns, and the two characters don't matter as any two work. Juna/Emma support for infinite turns is completely unnecessary now. With Rixia, it's a combo of perma-stealth + being the hardest hitter.

How did Falcom mess up someone like Swin gameplay wise
I think maybe I myself don't understand how to set him up properly
@@hack5770 it’s just that Swin gets overshadowed by everyone else on the roster who can do his role better than he does.

Great video!!
I like how Swain with his link skills is supposed to protect Nadia, but Nadia is like one of the most broken casters in the game.

Yeah, all combat footage in the showcase videos comes from the Reverie Corridor.
@@RozalinGamingNice ! Thanks
this game looks amazing. i played cold steel one and two and the first two sky games and am currently on sky the third. i have 4 more games to go 😞
The payoff for playing everything that came first will be worth all the more worth it though; plus, all of those games are good too!
@@RozalinGaming plus u have enough time, look at the wait for kuro don't rush and enjoy your time with the characters.
Whats the good build for mask c?
Phys. damage setup focusing on crit. rate to maximize Soul Eater.
why do you play the games in Japanese?
Because I speak Japanese and don't want to wait years for NISA butchered localizations.
