Hi! I am still a little new to your channel, and I was wondering if you can take the idea of wall-sits for a video? Or tips on getting more flexible. Thank you for the videos! :D
Quick tip for the knuckle pushups: If your family has a history of arthritis, don't do bare knuckle pushups. They can really fuck up the dexterity of your fingers later in life and it's not worth having temporarily stronger knuckles. Use plenty of padding for safety.
I tried telling him I had the same problem a while back, but he probably didn't notice. I'm glad he did this time and me and probably a lot lf other people got the help we needed! 😊
@@kpoptrash4085 I think he mentioned in some video that if you couldnt do wall pushups, to just lay down on the floor and do the pushing motion against the air. It might be a good idea to also do some warm up for the wrists and do pushing isometric holds. link for a warm up video hampton uploaded: ruclips.net/video/zQSLrDQezsA/видео.html Edit 1 and 2: I like making grammar mistakes
Before boot camp my wrists and forearms were fine, but ever since I've returned I have reoccuring wrist pain. Its gotten so bad that just going into push-up position is extremely painful. I'm seriously going to try this for a month, then update this post. Whether it works or not, I appreciate it!! Edit: Coming to you from 2048, we now have a lasting cure for the common cold and mobile rpgs have skyrocketed causing consoles to be obselete. Bad jokes aside, the pain started to feel as though shackles that were a few sizes too small were crushing my wrists as I resumed push-ups. Any workout where I was using my own weight caused pain, and it doesn't help that I got far weaker from going so long without arm exercise. Good thing I toughed it out. Around late August I found that doing assisted push-ups with your wrists at the aforementioned angle and slowly rotating your wrists in the morning helped a bunch. My pain increased for a while, but that was just my case. For a personal reason, I can't give the Marine Corps another shot as of now, but I'm grateful I found this video when I did. It may seem small to you, but it was a big help, I appreciate the home remedy, Hampton.
Really appreciate videos like this. I've got nerve damage in my wrists so pushups can be really painful if I'm not careful. Thanks so much for the ideas & positivity.
That is exactly why he said it can be a bit pricey. You can also try this on a big tree. They don't fall easily and stand strong. But make sure that the tree trunk is broad enough to put both your palms out flat.

I have repetitive motion injuries in my wrists and elbows, I find using hand wraps for boxing helps greatly. They are not restrictive like a traditional brace, but offer a bit of support and keep better alignment. Just don't wrap too tight! Close hands into a fist throughout the wrapping process to ensure mobility and start over if it's anything beyond "comfortably snug". Stretch gently after. For me the pain never fully stops regardless of strength and this allows me to keep working out. Maybe that can help someone 🙂 (not a Dr! Check with yours if unsure!) Just found you and really liking your videos!

Hey Hampton! Could you do a video on elbow pain/popping when you’re doing push-ups too? Or is it just the same process of building up mobility and strength from less intensive variations?
This is a huge help, I've been struggling with wrist pain for a couple years. I had to do push-ups on my knuckles. I'm going to try strengthening my wrists and see if that helps. Thanks for the tips.
Hey Hampton 👋, before I found this channel I couldn't do a single pushup or pull up, now i can do 7 pull ups and 15 pushups and im still going ,thank you brother

Pain does not come from weakness, it comes from disfunction in the joint. The only way to fix it is by seeing a gonstead chiropractor that will fix the joint, then give it resting time. Once healed strengthening and ROM exercises can be beneficial in reducing further injury but should not be done on an already painful joint. Thanks for listening
