I just realized how burnt out T1 actually must be. After winning Worlds, they had to fly to Germany to play 5 back to back games on jet lag, then fly back to Korea for LCK awards, then attend the T1 fan fest, and then like 4 other fan meetings and charity events. They only had a week and a half to themselves before having to prep for Spring. It's kind of understandable why Oner, Guma, and Keria have been underperforming and respectable that Zeus and Faker are still in great form. I still want them to make finals and go to MSI. But if they don't make it this time around, then I'll understand. At least they will get like a month and half of actual rest to recuperate. T1 fighting!

Well T1 has been playing the most League of Legends out of any team. Since 2021, they made Summer 21 Finals, did Regional. Went to Worlds Semis. 2022 they made every Final to be made. 2023 They made every Final except MSI but they were only 1 Bo5 from it. Not to mention what you said bout events and such. So they have been grinding for 3 years now.
Plus, the whole shxtty Ddos thing happens recently. T1's condition is terrible and worried. I doubt it they can make it to MSI this year...(Keep skeptical just like last year😉)

I want to see Kiin win an LCK title, GenG so easy to root for, they have such a great team. And look guys if KT does a crazy run beating teams they are not supposed to, I will be really happy. Let's hope for really good series!

@@grrumakemeangry normally people place too much importance on recent games, regular split etc. T1 have almost always been the final boss and basically slapped every team outside of GenG once they get into BO5. Whether it is playoffs, MSI, or worlds. And yet, 3 years in a row, everyone continues to evaluate the team the same. Some players/teams are just different when it matters most.

For DK: Kingen isn’t going to win you games but I don’t think Aiming wins you games either. He’s given a lot of resources in and out of game (often to the detriment of his rookie jungler) and he still can’t carry like better adcs in the league can. That combined with his whole soliciting a fifteen year old fan for nudes really makes me wish he didn’t have a job.

he did more than just ask for underage girls’ nudes. he was posting bad stuff in ilbe which as far as i’m aware is basically a south korean 4chan equivalent where incels and far-right people congregate.
@babyhanssama he was dating a 15 year old also Aiming was 19 at the time which is a bit weird (though was legal) I won't deny that but it sounds a lot worse than what it is the real bad thing is that he ended up ghosting the girl thus ending the relationship.

@@robnat2821 hi, 2 teams per region. So the two teams who will face each other in the LCK Finals will be the ones to qualify for MSI 2024. T1 must reach Finals to secure their spot in MSI.

This is probably the most exciting playoffs in a long time, where you can see a viable chance for any team to win. Sure GENG is the clear favorite, but even in the games leading up to the finals, anyone can win.
The thing is, it's inevitable for GENG vs T1 in the end.

@@samwisehuluberlu2210 I didn't necessarily mean anyone can win the LCK, more like most of the matches leading up to the finals are close. GENG winning the LCK is the most likely result, I'd even say 80% they win, but I'm obviously exaggerating for effect, just to show how much more competitive the LCK can be this season compared to the GENG vs T1 100% we got the previous 2 years.

Woohoo pogstate! I wish we got more of these, always love them. I forgot they judge the predictions based on like just binary yes or no, and not closest to correct or like weighted more for the top ranks.
This spring was a weird one. The meta wasnt that bad, even when there were some turbo picks they werent as bad to watch as the few series of Lucian/Nami Zeri/Lulu we got, so no series was really super painful to watch. Corki got nerfed before he could take over, Ksante was nowhere near as bad as last year, Senna at least made the botlane support picks potentially more interesting, and the LCK either collectively agreed not to abuse Smolder or that weird thing happened where teams watched it underperform once and then rated it way worse than they should have. Oh Viper on lethality Varus was able to outdamage Deft on lategame Smolder? Guess Smolder must be like B tier. Im happy the meta went for scaling though because we shouldnt get a repeat of the LCK insisting on drafting Kalista at an international no matter what.
Some player performances were always a treat to watch, Keria, Chovy, and Viper off the top of my head specifically. KDF's brief time looking great was awesome. But 90% of series you knew exactly, or mostly, how they were going to go, and most of the upsets were straight up just depressing. Usually not one team overperforming or living up to potential, but one team WAY underperforming and the other team somehow managing to do better but still really not playing that well.
Overall I enjoyed this spring, but im not really excited to watch GenG win spring playoffs again, and im not too excited about MSI because I 100% expect it to be T1 and GenG who take the LPL to semis and then get blown out again. Or I guess maybe HLE and GenG, but HLE GenG finals would be too radical of a shakeup. Im also not super excited about summer because I dont expect the top 4 to swap around at all. If DK shakes their roster up maybe theyll drop even lower. Short of Ruler coming back theres no roster change in the world you could make to the bottom 4 thatll make them truly competitive. A different mid/sup might make KDF more stable but even if it did I still dont think they breach top 5. If FOX can be more consistent that could be exciting, but that was true of them last year as well and they lost to a CL team by the end of last summer. If the Tarzan rumours are true and Thanatos got unjailed that would be fun for a couple weeks. Worlds should be super exciting though.
This is Chovy's prime. He better perform in international his chances are getting smaller each year.

faker went seven straight seasons without a single international win, longer than chovy’s ENTIRE career. remember that it’s entirely possible for a great player to go season after season and never win an international title. chovy’s only played professionally for about six seasons.

Similar predictions with the crew but with HLE vs T1 semis, and with HLE advancing to finals vs GEN. Because technically HLE is like GEN 2.0, but that's just me lmao.
They did poach 3 of last years GenG players so I think if they can get Zeka to cooperate it will be similar to last year.
Ya but beating T1 once doesn’t mean they are better. Plus T1 always levels up at playoffs. Just because they have Gen G players doesn’t mean they are Gen G.
I'm excited to see what Zeka can cook up during playoffs. I dont think this prediction is far off.

but towards the end it feels like Peanut came online and start leading his team to victories with very smart early games like he did for GenG in the past.

@@lewtx2283 last two series thankfully oner started playing better again but they should come back firing since ddos hit them even when stopped streaming so they have new accounts to practice on and no one knows what shenanigans they going to comee out with which is interesting to be honest but at least they were able to flip the finger at the ddos :)
