Awesome! I have this and Retro Cobra Commander coming from Pulse tomorrow. I am beyond stoked for this set. I think Bushwhacker is a goofy villain, especially in the issues they’re showcasing on the back of the box. That blaster is WAY too phallic. I think I referred to it as a “scrotal shooter”, or “foreskin firer”, or “penile pew pew” on Bobby Bee’s review. He will have his regular hands with mine and holding guns. I like your custom Punisher. I’ll have to see if the Gladiator Superman will work as an alternate head for this Frank.
So when I get this set idk what I plan to do, i hope I don't love this Frank cause I want to use that new body to make a better articulated Cap, strip the paint, swap the arms and legs with the secret wars Cap or Ultimate
Double ball pegs can look up if they're done right. Most of the good ones don't have the ball joint deep inside the neck and don't have a straight peg but a slightly curved one. The problem is that Hasbro has no idea how to make good double ball peg neck joints so disk hinge is their only functioning joint setup
Exacly. Mafex or Revoltech have ball pegs that can look up better than hasbro's medieval hinges. It's mind numbing seeing videos like this where people are happy that they got the more limited articulation points. Who even poses their figures looking up into the sky like that ? Unless its iron man or superman, i haven't seen people posing them like that in any collection video on youtube. Yet we're pretending that nuanced movement allowed by ball pegs is the weird one ...
Happy that I got more limited articulation you say? You see I have thousands of action figure foreign and domestic Mafex, S.H.Figurarts, etc. and my collection displays are dynamic with action poses. And I hate double ball pegs across the board. I even have the Mafex DKR Superman on my desk here and I don't like the double ball peg neck on it. The best system was the earlier waves of G.I.Joe Classified where they had a disc hinge at the top and a ball peg at the base of the neck. That was the best of both worlds :)
@@CollectorExpress now i know you're just being contrarian for the sake of it, because actual hate for double ball pegs is something that just doesnt make sense. When done well, it gives you the same thing you advocate for in this video, and then extra range. Disc hinge only does a single thing well, looking up in a way that doesnt even serve most figures, being limited in every other way and looking like shit while doing it. Its an antiquated, decades old relic that almost nobody else uses other than hasbro
@@CollectorExpressI don’t understand why double ball peg people think they speak for the rest of the collecting community. When I watched this review, all I get is that in the opinion of Collector Express, he prefers his action figures with the neck disc hinge over the limited double ball peg that Hasbro has been giving us. If people prefer the double ball peg neck, then that’s your preference. Stop telling people who like the disc hinge that they’re wrong. IMO, I think the collecting community is divided when it comes to their preference for neck articulation. Like whatever you like but don’t tell other people that they’re wrong for liking what they like.
@@CollectorExpress I forgot to mention in my last post, when it comes to marvel legends, like you, I also prefer the disc hinge neck articulation-simply because Hasbro doesn’t know how to do the double ball peg on their marvel figures. They nailed neck articulation on a lot of their GI Joe Classified figures so they proved that they can’t do better when it comes to neck artic.
What's that headsculpt on your custom Punisher? Mezco? Btw, I love that Charles Bronson Deathwish custom, I never thought of that headsculpt for that until seeing it on that Hammerhead suited body, with a magnum pistol. Classic!
The head sculpt on my custom Punisher is from a McFarlane Superman Future State: Worlds of WAR figure. McFarlane tends to make the heads on his figures too small for 7" figures, so they scale really well on Marvel Legends figures. As soon as I saw that "Tony" head I thought it looked like Charles Bronson and it fits the Hammerhead body perfectly.
@@CollectorExpress Holy Meatballs! That's the Future State Superman sculpt?! It looks so SMALL! Hard to believe a McFarlane headsculpt could fit so well in a Marvel Legends, but . . . there it is, and with the side by side comparison, it's no bigger than the new headband Punisher head next to it. You know, I always felt that the Superman Red Son headsculpt would make a great Punisher head, so now I wanna try that one on a Marvel Legends Punisher figure . . .
The chest harness is from the Walgreens Exclusive Punisher, the left thigh holster is from ML Paladin, the other leg holster is from a Valaverse gear set, and the boots are from a ROML Ultimate Captain America that I painted black.
0:59 “sad onion”
HA! Love it!
That screaming head is an update of the one from the all black variant of the Toybiz Punisher, I think it was in a boxed set
That's a really cool callback to the original. Thanks for the information 👍

Your custom punisher is awesome. They should have added a break to the lower legs of the two pack like you did on your custom.
Great review! Man I really wished I Pre ordered from Amazon... Possibly the best ML buck so far.
It is an absolutely amazing new buck. Amazing has been killing it with getting preorders in early.

Great review! I do wonder whether the tiny black spots on the white skull on his chest are intentional or small coloring errors though.

Id be easy money for them if they did an update of the marvel unlimited venom punisher on this buck
need Sentry on that buck
This would be a fantastic body for an updated Sentry. There are so many characters that need to be on this new body.
@@CollectorExpress so many, sentry is at the top of my list though
Really nice to hear the excitement again
It's great to be excited about a new release again 🙂
Greetings brother, the boots, leg belts and chest belt for the punisher custom, what figures are they?
Thanks budy

@@CollectorExpress thanks body amazing work
Who was the figure with the sword that you described as having the Omega Red/ Warpath type body?
It's a custom of one of my original characters. I'm planning on doing a showcase on it soon.
@@CollectorExpress ok, thanks.
This is cool.
👍🏽👍
why they change the skull eyes? It looks soo weired
Yeah, I'm not crazy about the skull eyes as well.
What's release date?
It's out now, I ordered mine from Amazon.
This is the new Grim Reaper body mold
That is my hope, but we know how long they hung onto the OG Bucky Cap after introducing the Vulcan mold
Let's hope it is

What was that humanoid elephant figure?
That is a custom that I made of an original character. I have a custom showcase on it ruclips.net/video/xI_z7sYUIbA/видео.html
Size of these figures???
These are standard Marvel Legends scale, which is what a lot of people refer to 1/12th, but in all actuality, Marvel Legends lean closer to 1/11th.
