It came out before the Millennium Falcon... by two years I believe. I remember, as a kid, that whenever I'd see the ITC Entertainment logo on TV, it would usually be followed by The Muppet Show, but every once in a while, I'd get lucky... and it'd be Space: 1999!

Very cool I have one and is in very good condition. The Mattel Eagle was 50 bucks CDN back in 1977 and I was 14 years old, and I was so impressed to see it in a hobby shop and was very fortunate my folks bought it for me. It truly made my day as being immigrants, we did not have a lot of money to spare, so I always looked after it and now I'm thinking of selling mine and would looks so awesome in a display case and thankyou your video brought a lot of good memories of this fantastic toy and the Space 1999 tv series .
