- This tour of the Dunsfold Landor Livery Boeing 747-400, organised by AviationFilming Ltd and dedicated volunteers, was a great chance to get up close and see this awesome Boeing jumbo jet.
Since entering the British Airways fleet on the 1st of February 1993, G-BNLY operated 14,016 flights
and flew for more than 122,358 hours, over nearly 60 million miles. It's last passenger flight was from
Cape Town to Heathrow on 22nd March 2020. - Авто/Мото
Sad that the 'Queen of the Skies' is no longer in passenger service, having been assigned mainly a cargo role. I've never been on a B-747. I prefer the 747 to the Airbus A380. I bet the 747 sounded marvellous way back when it was powered by the very loud (and smokey!) JT9D engines!
Welcome back. Hopefully you coped being away from RUclips for a while?
It's getting hard to find interesting stuff to film these days.
I agree@@Wonkabar007
Nice
At some point in the past I’d likely have refuelled it a few times.
One of the volunteers said G-BNLY still has 14 tons of fuel onboard, so they can run up the engines.
