This Battlefield 2 Mod is Getting Crazy Now

- Battlefield 2 (Bad Company mod) now has a new Valparaiso map from the original game of Bad Company 2 (Multiplayer map), complete with its destroyable objects. And the map now has 2 gameplay modes, Conquest and Rush.
The Rush mode in this mod is only available for the Russian Army as the attacker and the US Army as the defender. This is why the teams are inverted in this mode.
The small vegetation in this map was reduced to gain more FPS because it already has enough vegetation.

BF2 had limited destruction, all they did was apply it to most assets

Corpos death grip their products that have already sold their run, they should just be dumping the source code after a decade because if people just mod the original software then they will continue to buy copies ad infinitum since they want to play the game
Companies should be dumping source codes left and right for their dead products cause it ironically revives them and continues steam sales till the end of days, instead you have IP worshippers who think if the company locks their dead old products away anyone is winning at all, the people who are holding onto the source codes of these things probably don't play games at all

They already existed... PR had some destructible buildings like a decade ago.

indeed, back in the day I was not a fun of this snake like map design, but I kinda liked it because there was a clear visible frontline.

There is literally no reason to play the newer and shittier Battlefield games from DICE if we got mods like this! Incredible! It is impossible not to love these modders!

Looking at the possibilities in this mod you've showcased, i hoped that you'd get most of BC2 maps if not all of it into BF2 with the destructible environment. This is insane!
Incredible mod. Full of surprises; IMO surpasses Bad Company 2 because this mod has more customiseable guns and mechanics. I got a question though; when this mod is done and you take a restful break; would you be remaking MoH Warfighter? Clearly you have a taste for shooters that got screwed by the publishers and giving them new life in BF2. God bless for giving these games a 2nd chance in a different engine.
Never played the Warfighter, but I dunno. Everything is possible.

if only we could play this on LAN, most if not all Battlefield 2 mods are single player only which is sad

this game is modded to hell, you can see fragments of BF2, BFBC2, BF3 and BF2042 in one game.

There's also a Chinese mod based on Battlefield 3 and 4, with an anime main menu. It's a pretty good mod, but the visual effects are overdone.
These mods bring something fresh to the traditional, more goofy mods like AIX2 imo

Lovely animations
one thing I see with every bf2 mod except project reality and vanilla bf2, none of you understand the importance of fluid and matching animations set, every single gun had a different camera angle and movement animations had zero similarities, making all the hard hours of making something grand like this look like it took a day ,just importing random weapon addons found online and meshhacking them to make them different, destructible environment is definitely incredible I applaud that! but its overshadowed by the poor account for animations and gameplay improvements. cool mod tho

These battlefield 2 mods that are being developed currently are cool and all but if they don't have a multiplayer scene it just seems pointless to me.

That was always the problem with dice they could have easily made a Battlefield 2 expansion pack let alone a Battlefield 2 bad Company 3 this is why I don't buy EA Games anymore

i downloaded v2 beta, i get import os error module not found error, this happens loading a map. Do you have discord?
only load 15% then crashes. I noticed in bc2 folder theres still some compressed folders like object1...2 etc. do these have to be extracted also.
