I agree with everything you have said. To be honest I thought I was the only one with this sentiment about the Donna character. They assisinated her character after season 4 or 5, but her development was a disaster and train wreck till the end.
Thanks! I'm glad I posted this! I will make another video series on another character of the show. The guy from the clinic who kept bugging Mike about "being for the little guy" might face me, who do you think was another character who was just as bad?
This analisys is so good thank you for that !!! The problem with Paula was that she herself ruins it too. She told Harvey that’s Donna was in love with him… she knew that man was dreaming of her… Donna on her side was only just waiting. When she become his mother in his mind . He was ready to love her and forgive her just the way Paula’s helped him to do… You’re going to have a lot of detractors because of girl power and feminism covered as this mental healths women that work in any position in real Jobs in real world. Too sad.
You're welcome! Right you are about Paula. I saw it as Paula giving Harvey an altruistic "Can't you see!?" moment. Though Harvey's psychology at play is quite interesting. His reaction to Donna leaving for Louis was pretty bad, that was a form of punishment on her end, etc. Yeah I know all about that, but the conscientious people will see this for what it is ;)
@ Paula fell down into the same mistakes she said she didn’t want to. That’s how intense can be the passion . She knew deep down he was Donna’s. Donna punished him after telling him episodes ago they were not going to leave him. But also Harvey was playing rude claiming an ambiguous love… I’ve seen a lot of Donna’s detractors . I think her skills used in a healthy way would have done such a wonderful changes along 12 years. But maybe the Mikes effect needed to be done.
Her character is the most manipulative person on the show. She has her moments of course but she is definitely not a saint that everyone makes her out to be i honestly respect the louis character because of how much he grew
Not everyone thinks he should have stayed with Paula. Paula should have had her license suspended for malpraxis and for her romantic involvement with a former patient who she knew had mental health issues that she needed to address in therapy. Paula takes advantage of Harvey's problems and information from therapy to exert her power in the relationship, to manipulate and control him As a therapist, she was extremely unprofessional and unethical and did not seek to cure Harvey, but instead wanted to make him dependent on her. She couldn't even gain his trust to get him to open up to her as a therapist and manipulated him first with pills, then revealing his personal and professional secret. The master manipulator is Paula
This is an interesting perspective that I'd be inclined to agree with it. I don't think she was as bad as Donna but it seems like of all the characters in the show, Harvey should have searched outside the cast! Haha! But if we were forced to match up someone for Harvey... geez I don't see the character for him. Katrina? They directors never wanted that

Good catch! I agree I also liked the character growth they gave for Louis, his evolution to a more mature man!

Pearson specter litt family would be so much better if Donna just stick to her acting career 😤
Haha, nonetheless it's great people are able to see through her character act. Let me know if you want an analysis on further characters!
