  • The halftone effect is a technique used in printing and digital imaging to simulate continuous shades of gray or color using a pattern of dots. It involves varying the size and spacing of these dots to create the illusion of different tones and gradients. The result is a visually appealing representation that mimics the appearance of smooth transitions in images despite being composed of discrete dots.

Great tutorial as always. It's a shame you cannot save the filter stack in the filter gallery as a style to be used again in another project. Or is there??

Thanks! But you can use the psd file as template and preplace the image. I'm not sure if you can save the filter settings like that hmm, you could save it as an action if you will.
