It's 4am right now and I'm doing a report that's due tomorrow, this is saving my life

it's 3am and I am doing the same, so glad someone made a video on this!

Not to be dramatic, but you genuinely saved my dissertation's results section! Thank you so much!

Thanks! For me, writing a report about my analysis is almost as difficult as the data processing. Sometimes I find it hard to manage language used and have proper lexical choices. This video is excellent. I think I will review this for several times.

I cannot even begin to explain how helpful this video is ! The clarity in the way you have explained everything step by step is commendable! I was struggling for a while on how to report my factorial ANOVA results because I didn't know that a 2x2x2 between subjects ANOVA was classed as a factorial ANOVA! Thank you for breaking this down so well! I'm feeling a lot more confident now!! :) :) :)

Very helpful on how to report the results of ANOVA

Overall - super helpful and offered a great template for students. however, it is not convention to report p values as p=0.000. APA would be to replace this with p

Is there a way for someone to identify the levels of the factor when it is unclear yet?

Very profoundly explained, I would like to know if we have multiple dependent variables, how it is to be reported. Thanks

Hi, they should be reported in the same way. Report F values and DF in the same way.

Hello, my 2 independents variable interacts but it has a high vif, and it means multicollinearity? Why is that
    lm(maxbite~island*sex+length, data)
Vif high for island abs island:sex
This issue does not occur for lm(maxbite~island+sex+length, data)

Should I report the partial eta squared value (to show the effect size) of the interaction between the two variables, mine being gender and weight class? my Partial Eta Squared result is 0.224, does this mean that 22% of the variance in my test (push-ups per minute) can be described by the interaction of the two variables?
Your video has been very helpful!! Thank you

@Seamus, yes, you should report the partial eta squared value; and yes, your interpretation of the value is correct. In other words, the mean score of one of the groups (the gender with the higher mean) is 0.22 SDs above that of the other group.

Hi there, very well explained therefore THNAK YOU very much! One question though, at 08:44 minute, or the 2nd main effect 'stream', why did you say ...indicating that 18.1% of the variance in the situational ..... was explained by 'gender'? shouldn't it be stream? Thanks for your advice!

Hi there, do you know whether partial eta squared and F statistics need to be reported as < .001 like p does if they are .000 in APA format? Thank you!

APA changes constantly. Please check the 7th edition.

You should make a separate video for the three-way ANOVA results, since they are different from two-way ANOVA and you can't really use the template you provided for the three-way ANOVA. I'm not sure why you grouped them together.. The video was unhelpful for me, unfortunately

    • @VahidAryadoust
      @VahidAryadoust  3 года назад +1

Thanks for the suggestion. I will put that on my to-do list. Meanwhile, the method will be the same; the difference between the outputs lies in the number of main effects and interaction effects. The rest of the story will be identical.
