If anything Manchin should be in favor of the infrastructure bill since his state is one of the poorest States in the country. McConnell is no better. Kentucky is just as poor if not worse than West Virginia. They don't want to raise taxes on the rich. The rich have been getting more and more tax breaks for decades and it's about time for them to pay their share for a change.

It amazes me how some politicians don't want to spent tax payers money on tax payers but big companies and the military industrial complex gets whatever they want.
If we cut the military industrial complex budget by just 10% (including the amount we give to countries like Israel and Saudi Arabia) we could fund almost every domestic program in the United States, but too many politicians across the political spectrum don't want to do that.
