When everything looks cooler at night and rain (occasional not always like in NFS 2015) I don't know why people want so eagerly to race in the day light. I mean day light makes a huge difference in sim racing but for an arcade you just want something cool and entertaining. Payback day light doesn't add up anything to the looks. days are much longer than nights and all the graphic hypes are nothing but a bunch of lazy color and light filters. Even in this mess night looks better than day. Texture loadings are awful. And speedcards are shit. I said shit but EA calls it sense of pride and accomplishment.
EA just tried to fix everything that was wrong in the previous game, such as no time cycle and how it’s always raining, but they fixed it a bit too much, I’m more of a fan of this game. Payback is just too devoted to off-road and plus there isn’t a free roam in Payback.
RamenNoodlz Gaming speed cards are fun destroyer. They totally destroyed the sense, joy and feeling of tuning. It's just a digital slot machine. Weather isn't dynamic no matter rain or sunny, this aspect of game didn't see any improvement. For visual fidelity considering cinematic tool results for 2015, payback is a step backward. Buying same car for different type of race isn't a good thing considering that we have a garage to tune cars. If we were limited to buy only pre tuned cars with limited tuning options then buying the same car for each race type was acceptable. GT Sport does something like this. Graphic performance is a shame. Starting the free roam I have to wait for textures to load for example tarmac texture. Forza Horizon 3, NFS 2015 and driveclub leave payback with no excuse for this poor performance. No free roam cop and laughable check point cop chases are huge let down. I don't want to talk about story or dialogues being cheesy as hell cause it has been a long time that these items were not considered as strong points of this franchise so I didn't expect anything special and wasn't disappoint by it. Soundtracks are mediocre. So imo payback isn't a step forward for the franchise but a missed opportunity. If 2015 was reboot, payback is a shut down.
If updates and dlc are going to turn this game to a complete and acceptable game then they should have charged us accordingly not full price for a half baked game after two years. Updates and dlc can not be accepted as an excuse for releasing a poor and unfinished product.
EA is fast and cruel with shutting developer companies down. I don't want to lose ghost games. Ghost games certainly knows how to make a good game. They should be aware that not every company can be lucky enough like slightly mad studio to be able to stand on their feet again.
Pouya I'm playing 2015 right now, and all I have to say is that, despite all the letdowns like car choice, restrictions, weather, etc. it's still a superior game compared to Payback. I'm not buying Payback until the price lowers or until they add online freeroam. It's just sad that they attempted to create a better version of 2015 when it's just lazier and underdeveloped. 😤😖

TRAPzilla GAMING honestly nfs2015 might be the best looking game in car racing game history it might not be that good at the rest but no other game beats this at graphics i gotta say that atleast for a game that was made in 2015 nonetheless sooo yea gotta give props there even the 2017 games dont look this good

I don't care what the internet say oh forza is the best game or asset to corsa..... I am not looking for the best game you know.......and arcade game with just fun enjoyment is all I need.... Need for speed 2015 and payback is the best looking games and fun for what it is
