im at half of your video and you didnt explain difference between lures, baits or rods, how to use them, does other players in the room affect your chances of catching fish, you didnt explain how to use the rods to actually drop further, i liked the video for your efforts and i did learn about how to do the draft, but as a begginer guide, you could have explained the equipment, not saying whats worth to do early on and what not, thats a playthru not a guide......................... i wish i didnt spend that time watching your video, i wish i found actual guide, you will be usefull once i know the game, but now, you just talk stuff that aint relevent
This was definitely a guide.. you're just ungrateful. Just because you need your hand held in every single small detail of the game doesn't mean this isn't a guide, he LITERALLY guides you through the entire map..
Itd be cool if the fish changed every week. Not like the types of fish but you know the Young, Common, Trophy, and Unique. Like so it'd switch up the way people farm every week. So for example one week lonestar would have young catfish, and the next week it'd have trophy or common or both.
Plz respond I need HELP I got my first bottem rod but I sold my boat and my spinning rod setup from dlc for the rod I grinned at mishigan sold my float rod and now I have no float or spinning rod for the actual first bottem rod but I don’t have a reel for that one do u THINK I CAN GO to mishigan with 1 bottem rod if I grinder for 5 hours I could buy a reel for it by catching uni pike because I don’t want to have to buy this else

Grab Bassboat and use the casting setup you get, also can use the heavy chaser for Tarpon, permit, drum etc etc. When you go grab a thora or loki and you can also go bass fishing which is fun there.

Issue is compatibility, you probably have a rod that is only suited for bobber fishing. You need to make sure your rod has the green picture of the Lure on it where it shows the 4 boxes, one for each type of reel and one for each type of bait/lure

my game glitched out and didnt work, the missions didn't show up, no fish bit... I've had to uninstall it and I'm waiting for it to download again right now. really disappointing.
The Complete Fishing Planet Beginners Guide - Episode 1- "We'll just de-equip that rod and.." without showing HOW to de-equip the thing! Have fun with your ADHD I'm a total noob to this game and now looking for a non-hyper-active TRUE beginners guide that shows the 'simple steps'.
Couldn't find what I was looking for so.. for those of us idiots that don't snort cocaine while main-lining ritalin, you de-equip on the WORLD screen to ones HOME inventory, not on the lake map.
I do have a DLC video out, but it's a tad old. It should give you a decent idea of what you're looking for. It really depends on how much you would like to skip in the game.

if on PC, you need to hit F11 to swap from tossing your line in to an overhead cast.
It's R3 On ps4. I too am struggling to cast longer than 12 meters, im nowhere near my marker. I feel I need more weight 🤷♂️🤷♂️
