So they are thinking of getting rid of the XL frames across the board or just the mainlink?? Their XLframes are the only reason I'm able to wear Oakleys!!! I hope this is just gossip?
I've bought a handful of great sunglasses based on your reviews, but my Oakley 5² are absolutely the cheapest flimsiest frames and worst lenses I have. Size is perfect... but the MJ stingray is lightyears ahead. That being said, the Oakleys are absolutely the glasses I'd bring if i knew they were going to get banged up, like camping or hiking, or a dusty environment. Anywhere I'm going to be clean I'll choose something else from my collection. But they have their use, and I think they're perfect for some people. Admittedly the 5² is not their best frame, so dont judge the brand too harshly. They should have our pity, Luxottica made them an offer they couldnt refuse to join the family, wink*
Hey there! Great question, we actually have a video on why they're different, which I will link below. The main difference is that the original Mainlink didn't fit everyone and Oakley made the XL to accommodate larger heads. The SFW of the Mainlink is 132, while the Mainlink XL comes in at 142. Outside of that, it's the same great frame with a whole lot more frame and lens. To figure out which one fits you best, go check out our video on finding your SFW (SportRx Frame Width), and for more info on the Mainlink and Mainlink XL, check out the video link below! Hi MIchelle! Polarization is a lens filter that helps to cut glare bouncing off of other objects like roads, windshields, water, etc. It doesn't necessarily 'brighten' our visual perspective, but moreso relieves eyestrain and provides a more defined and distinctive outlook. With some polarized tints, you often get a boost of color as well. Eyeglass Tyler is wearing the Oakley Scavenger. Unfortunately, the Scavenger is discontinued. We regularly get asked about this frame, so maybe we need to hit up Oakley about bringing it back🤔 Also, in the future if you want to know what frame a host is wearing, we always link them in the video description! Cheers!
New balance shoes have become popular with millennials because they were once popular with our fathers when they were young. It's a solid shoe that you can move in without hurting your feet while chasing our kids around
As somebody who physically made glasses by hand for a Luxottica company on 1950’s equipment over 25 years ago, I was waiting for some sort of technical, interesting information… I fell asleep counting superlatives like “amazing” & “rad” & that meaningless Avatar word “unobtanium”. Sorry dude but not a very helpful review. Edit: Sorry, I didn’t realize that Oakley officially uses the cartoon word “unobtainium”! 🤣🤪🤦🏼♂️

Love Oakley so much but I do wish they bring back some of the old frame styles and mix it with the new and get the best of both old and new .
That would be cool!
For Mainlink which one is better XL or regular one?

Can somebody tell me the make and model of frame this guy is wearing? Please.
Hi Eduard! Tyler is rocking the Oakley Scavenger in tortoise!
Does polarized mean a brighter vision?
