'Similar' simple questions sunk a right wing election campaign in Australia - centrist voters gave this a huge weighting and consideration as it highlighted the lack of common touch.
My book arrived 08/13 without the signed plate. I can’t find the claim form anywhere. Harper Collins customer service told me that the claims had to be filed by 08/12. And that I have to contact the author. The email they gave me was invalid. Any help would be greatly appreciated! It’s a great read too!
I'm 42 years old and an Independent. I'm a father, spouse and a gun owner. I'm white. I will be voting for Harris/Walz this November and have donated and signed up to phone bank. This speech sums up why. I'm all for red flag laws and universal background checks. I don't care that Harris wants to ban assault weapons, either, because in my life, I've never needed one. You know what I have needed, though? Help with the down payment for my home. Help paying for daycare and with infant supplies. Time off with my family and quality affordable healthcare. Someday I will retire and hope that retiring doesn't put me into poverty after working for my whole life. These are some of the reasons why I'm voting for Harris over Trump. He has no plan other than giving his rich buddies and himself even more of my tax money!
Yep, that's what all Biden has started and had plans for both his 1st term and if he got a 2nd term. Manchin/Sinema put a filibuster monkey wrench in most of it. If they didn't do that, we'd have had HR1 pass in 2021 which would've taken care of all this and more. It would've reversed Citizens United, paid all the student loans people were struggling with, went towards Universal healthcare so everybody was covered almost 100%, raised taxes on the rich to get a lot more done and shore up SS forever, etc.
Banning assault weapons keeps our children safe. Every time we send a child to elementary school we pray the come back safely because of Sandy Hook and many other horrific incidents. Trump who went to private school with ton of security will never understand.

I worked in a surgery center, where drug reps often came, buying lunch to be catered in for the whole work place. One of the women I worked with would never eat the food, because she said, the cost of that food, is tacked onto the price of prescription drugs, so the company does not lose profit margins. She was in protest.

Her comments on home ownership really got me. Talking about her mom, and later talking about what it represents. I once thought it was out of reach for me, but worked hard and managed to buy a few years ago, and it really did give me a strong sense of stability and accomplishment. PEOPLE DESERVE THIS OPPORTUNITY IF THEY WANT IT.
Ah, this has to be my favorite speech of her so far, people who have been criticizing how she hadn’t made her policies known yet, we have to keep in mind, it all happened too fast, and with this speech it’s eminent that she has finally laid down and streamlined the mapping of her campaign, all in less than a month’s time, and only now do we finally get to see her unfolding all the great things she has in store for her nation, and my, what a treat it should be!!! If Dems emphasized Trump’s disdain for the military in eastern and western NC (billboards, etc), I suspect many in the gop would not vote. And if the percentage of participating black voters moves from from the 40s into 50s, NC can move blue again.

I was SHOCKED (in a pleasant way) that she's supporting a national health care system. It's so beyond time for that to happen. Also was happy to see realistic policy goals on housing. REALLY happy so far. I spoke with an elderly woman in her 70s today (that works at Wal-Mart) and she got so excited about the possibility of hearing/vision/dental coverage added to Medicare. Like insanely happy. She's still working 24 hours a week but it's getting really tough for her, super nice woman (NEVER smoked or drank a day in her life apparently).
I remember when I started my adult life, my insurance was a bit higher since I have a pre-existing condition. Then, one day, I noticed that my insurance was "normal" when I switched jobs. I didn't realize it was because of Obama care. Recently I switched from my dream job to a back up job ( I like it but still not my dream job) I moved jobs and NOW I am out of the lower class and NOW I'm in the middle class! I really don't want some criminal dictator president to put me from a middle-class BACK to a lower class. I really hope Kamala fulfills everything she said, and I REALLY REALLY hope that Republicans work for the American people and help her fulfill her goals! God bless Kamala! Slowly I got interested, even lost friends over Trump. I now have a vested interest in this election. I feel my grandchildren’s lives depend on it. I worked in a surgery center, where drug reps often came, buying lunch to be catered in for the whole work place. One of the women I worked with would never eat the food, because she said, the cost of that food, is tacked onto the price of prescription drugs, so the company does not lose profit margins. She was in protest.

Her comments on home ownership really got me. Talking about her mom, and later talking about what it represents. I once thought it was out of reach for me, but worked hard and managed to buy a few years ago, and it really did give me a strong sense of stability and accomplishment. Ah, this has to be my favorite speech of her so far, people who have been criticizing how she hadn’t made her policies known yet, we have to keep in mind, it all happened too fast, and with this speech it’s eminent that she has finally laid down and streamlined the mapping of her campaign, all in less than a month’s time, and only now do we finally get to see her unfolding all the great things she has in store for her nation, and my, what a treat it should be!!! What an exciting feeling, I cannot even describe the horrible mood and dark cloud that was hanging over me, only a month ago, but now, now it’s all gone, a clear blue sky, hope, she has restored my faith in everything, I look forward to seeing her succeeding in hopefully bringing all her promises to life, and watching people once again coming together as one under her protective wing, if we should let her, please Vote with Pride and Joy to be able to change this world for a better, happier future!!!

I was SHOCKED (in a pleasant way) that she's supporting a national health care system. It's so beyond time for that to happen. Also was happy to see realistic policy goals on housing. REALLY happy so far. I spoke with an elderly woman in her 70s today (that works at Wal-Mart) and she got so excited about the possibility of hearing/vision/dental coverage added to Medicare. Like insanely happy. She's still working 24 hours a week but it's getting really tough for her, super nice woman (NEVER smoked or drank a day in her life apparently).

I remember when I started my adult life, my insurance was a bit higher since I have a pre-existing condition.
Then, one day, I noticed that my insurance was "normal" when I switched jobs. I didn't realize it was because of Obama care.
Recently I switched from my dream job to a back up job ( I like it but still not my dream job) I moved jobs and NOW I am out of the lower class and NOW I'm in the middle class!
I really don't want some criminal dictator president to put me from a middle-class BACK to a lower class.
I really hope Kamala fulfills everything she said, and I REALLY REALLY hope that Republicans work for the American people and help her fulfill her goals!

As a young child I got to meet JFK at the old Tampa airport. Our next door neighbor worked at the airport and when he got notice that his plane was coming in my mother who was a staunch Democrat and activist threw us in the car to go meet his plane, we were with a group of about a dozen people, I have never forgotten it.
