Well the current administration already said they would let the Trump tax cuts expire meaning standard deductions will get cut in half. That is going to raise the tax bill for most married couples with children by 3,000 so any changes to the tax credit won’t actually change the tax bills for these families. Everyone else will be paying more though. This is just an empty gesture so the media can give her some coverage.
