Alan If youre cold, i have some advice: bundle up and stay away from tauntauns. Sure they're warm but that smell DOES NOT wash out, you can do better. I hear Wookies provide very warm and comfortable hugs and cuddles...
You have to hand it to the Clone procurement officers, they got their men the guns, armor and fighting vehicles in a blink of an eye. Modern acquisition programs take at least 2 whole clone lifetimes to go from board to battlefields.

One of biggest gripes with the TCW series was how quickly they ditched the Acclemators, clone colour rankings and Geonosis-debuting CIS vehicles. It's like the war starts and boom Anakin's an adult and ROTS's aesthetic is already here. The clones already are coloured by battlegroup, everything CIS is blue instead of grey and brown and the republic fleet is 99% Venator.
Fun fact: the Republic Commandos' armor is made of duraplast which can even provide some good resistance against lightsabers. Before the idiot changes to the Republic after the New Sith Wars, Republic soldiers all wore armor made of duraplast. And a lot had shield drones and stuff. The stuff lost to apocalypse level wars...mostly brain cells, apparently.
We need a good modern Clone Wars game :(

The shape of the unknown regions always bothered me because given 25,000 years, the Republic should have expanded there, barrier or no barrier.
But I was just thinking it would be cool if there was an ancient war that devastated an entire half of the galaxy leaving black holes everywhere.
Supposedly the barrier prevented any real hyperspace travel there, for the most part, and it was extremely dangerous there, then also they mostly expanded in the other direction
Think of it this way would you rather climb a mountain and risk breaking your neck or getting eaten by wild animals OR explore the fairly safe flatlands in the other direction

This was fascinating, I’m so glad we’re getting into the details of these time periods.
And where did the Separatist capital ships came from?
Each one of the groups that made up the Separatists such the Trade Federation, Commerce Guild, Techno Union, etc...brought their own private security forces into the Separatist fold while the Free Dac Volunteers Engineering Corp supplied the CIS navy with the Providence-class destroyer after extensively modifying Dreadnaught-class heavy cruisers.

Hm, weird, I always thought that Republic capital ships were the vehicles that were previously mothballed on Coruscant (and probably built there as well long long time before the War). That would have explained why these ships were manned by navy officers from Coruscant and why clones were moved to Coruscant to march into these ships in the first place. So my hypothesis was that there were a lot of old mothballed ships and very few human navy personnel who manned very few ships remaining in active duty by the time War started, but when clones were transported to Coruscant they promoted people with experience in navy to higher ranks, de-mothballed the ships and manned the ships with clones.
3:55 Nearly all of these "blasters" have an appearance profile and name designation similar to real world original.....look at that BlasTec 47, or that BlasTec Luger 9 and BlasTec Tommy.

The Venators and a lot of other equipment for the GAR was built on a planet (I've forgot the name) that was largely unknown like rothena and protected by classified hyperspace lanes known only by the kaminoans and Contracted companies leaders, the hyperspace coordinates were only told to ships when they needed to travel through them to get supplies to the planet and they needed to wipe the ships hyperspace memory banks after, I don't think that the ships crew was even told the coordinates and someone from Kamino or RHE or KDY needed to go on the ship with like a hard drive or some shit rather than send it to them and risk it being downloaded by someone and leaked. That's pretty much it, I can't remember in detail what happened but I think people can understand.

Allen you got to do two videos on the juggernaut/turbo tank, one with flaws and the other about the advantages it had.
To fix your error on the Mandalorian armor. Only the current gen of armor had that widespread issue of limited armor plating. The crusader, Neo-Crusader, late crusader, and power tech armor types all had extremely good armor protection. It wasnt until they became less United in the current era that they got lazy with their armor. In fact the era after the current one, ie 100 ABY, had mandalorians increasing their armor plate covering again.
How did Allens' beard grow so fast?

Can you can explained more about the ARC as well as noticeable members and maybe the armor and explain why clone troopers such as Rex and Bly were wearing armor similar to the Phase 1 ARC trooper armor seen in Legends and the 2003 Clone Wars series during the use of the Phase 1 armor?
I still find the “oh well the Kaminoens see in ultraviolet so it isn’t white it’s just that you can’t see them” because that’s definitely not how vision works and in ultraviolet if that was true the Clones would look just SUPER PURPLE and that’s hilarious. For anyone interested, Knowing Better has two excellent videos covering the rough basics of how eyes and the visible spectrum works.

I know the jedi doesnt get involved with politics, but what i thought wouldve made more sense is that, during wartime shouldnt the jedi reign control over the Senate till the war ends, since the jedi was more involved with battles plans and scenarios both on planet's and in space, fighting for the senates and jedis interest. (Well so the jedi thought)
I love Phase 1 and Phase 2 and I also love how the phase 1 and Phase 2 are mixed with each other like the arc troopers and not only that but the clone commandos as well I would love to buy each and every single one of their uniforms if they were to still have them which I know my friend Chase would look up on the computer and there are at least quite a few of them that still make them but it is the best I love clone armor

It is ironic that from all this ships and armor etc. the oldest (the Z-95 Headhunter) may have the longest lifespan, since it was quiet in use even beyond the battle of Endor, although mainly py smugglers, pirates etc. - while nearly all other designs which are mentioned here were mainly forgotten...

I think Jangos Armor is Beskar now in canon and Bobas armor is now just Jangos armor painted.
At least the the spectrum the painted the armor in actually has very good camouflage. So the clones were actually well hidden from most threats outside of visual range or when behind cover or in buildings. Better that than nothing. Probably helped a lot against air strikes, at least. The Kaminoans not knowing human ergonomics is just laziness on their part. After how intimately they had to know the human body (oh no the images!), there's no excuse.
