Thank you Carol, that was an excellent tutorial on threads.I thought that when going into the thread chart&put your thread chart in that it would be taken over the Bernina thread. But now I know to go back in there to change it over.Could you please have a tutorial on applique for the new tools that are in v9.
    Thank you again.
    Regards
    Caroline

Caroline, I forgot to show the button at the top right of the Threads Docker, which will match and assign all. Thiss effectively replaces all the Bernina Colors with threads from your chosen Chart.

Is it still possible to enter a thread chart from an excel chart to have an accurte list of your personal thread collection. I did this in V8 and would love to copy it to V9. Thanks as always for all of the information you impart. This video has been invaluable in managing our threads.

Hi, I am sorry I did not get back to you sooner on this. I have never used an excel chart, so I did some research and cannot find anything about entering a thread chart from it into the Bernina software. Certainly you could refer to your excel chart to Create a new thread chart in the Bernina software, but I am unaware of any automatic process. The thread charts that come with the software are .tch files, which require the use of special software to produce. I would not like to try to add any files to the program in case something went wrong. You may find that you void your warranty by trying to do this.

Carol_THANK YOU! this is great. Is this also available on your website? This is so much easier to understand and I will be updating my thread chart using the color comparison mapping (not sure what it is really called) I love that feature

Glad you liked it MG. I embed my latest RUclips videos in my free Bernina Digitizers Club under the "My Latest RUclips videos" topic. When you log in to my website carolundy.podia.com/ you are taken to the Community by default and the Topics buttons are on the left. They are not available for download though. It just means, you can keep up to date with all of my offerings in the one place. You can subscribe or unsubscribe to any of the topics to filter what you get notified about.
      Cheers Carol

hi Carol is it possible to show us how to add a whole thread chart which is not avalable in the software just by adding the thread chart tch file I saw this tutorial somewhere but I cannot remember where I neer to add the threadart chart in the software

Carol, the TCH files that come with the software are located here C:\Program Files\BERNINA\DesignerPlus 9\RES so in theory you could try adding a TCH file there. However, I have never done it and it may in fact be in conflict with the EULA - End User Licence Agreement. As computers do not reproduce colors exactly anyway I find it easier to just find a color that works for the design from an existing chart. You can easily write the name of your thread manually on your printed worksheet if you need to keep that information or pass it on to someone else.
